Chapter 10: Survivor

Police came and were banging on the doors. They were so confused about how this had happened. When they saw me in the chair all tied up, dead, they untied me and rushed me to the hospital. 5 doctors were in the room trying to bring my back alive. Nothing. They had been working for a good hour and a half. Nothing worked, until 1 doctor saved my life. It was my crush in high school. I just became a doctor 3 years ago. His name was Eric. "Laura?! That's you?!" "I saw Maddie." "Whose Maddie?" " I can't talk bye!" I rushed out of the hospital. "Jake! Jake bring made back please! I need my daughter. Jake!" Nobody responded. "I want my life back. Jake! Please.... Please." I feel to the floor, crying. "Why?" I wimpered. "Why did you do this to me?! WHY!" Then I heard a voice. Maddie's voice. "Mom. You don't need to worry. I will be home soon." "Maddie. Come back." "Goodbye mom." "Maddie wait! Please come back! Please!" I was confused and lonely. "I want my life back. What did I ever do to deserve this." I cried and cried in the hospital parking lot. I will never feel safe or loved again...
