CHAPTER 9
For you, for you
I would bring down the heavens on this earth
For you, for you
I would even trust the devil for rebirth
(Poets of the fall - Rebirth)
Sybil could not remember waking up with somebody, so this awakening was a great surprise. She even closed her eyes again to make sure she was not sleeping, but having opened them once again, she understood that some man really laid with his back to her and she closely held his naked torso. They were so closely squeezed together and it was even more amazing.
- What the heck?..- Sybil muttered, raising her hand up and looking at it, as if it betrayed her. Thanks gods, the man wore pants and she wore...whose was this shirt? What happened here? Was she really so drunk, that she didn't remember what she was doing with... By the way, who was it?
Moaning in her thoughts, she finally saw fair hair. Aurinko! But how could she let it happen? She had never stayed at night with a guy! It just wasn't her style. And besides... But what a terrible headache she had because of this awful swill, that she had been pouring into her own mouth so lavishly last night!
- Good morning! - she heard suddenly and Eoll looked at her with a smile, raising on his elbow. Sybil felt getting red from her head to toes.
- How did I get here? - she asked, having gotten up and trying to see where her cloths might be. It was a tiny room with only a bed, a table and a stool.
- Your cloths are in another room, - Eoll prompted. - You undressed there.
- By myself? - the girl asked with her eyes full of suspicion.
- Yeah, - the blond replied innocently, obviously enjoying her confusion.
- And is it yours? - she pointed at the shirt which hardly covered her rump.
- Exactly.
- You drank me and used my condition, - she said grumpily, trying to pull on the shirt as low as possible, but it didn't turn out well.
- There was nothing to use, you have just fallen asleep, - Eoll grinned and got up. Sybil gazed at his smooth chest and six-pack abs. Gods, a few minutes ago she held this perfect body! At this thought Sybil went hot again, as if her face was in fire.
- So....nothing happened? - she asked, trying hard not to stare at this ideal torso. - Well, I mean between us...
- Would you like it to? - he grinned again and Sybil couldn't restrain herself.
- You know, that I would! - she exclaimed. - Did you want to hear it, bigheaded handsome?
- Not at all, but you are just so beautiful when you're angry, - he told. - Even more beautiful than usually. And my shirt suits you so. Do you want to hear my confession? - Sybil strained and thought that she was about to steam, so hot she felt inside.
- I don't want any confessions, - she said in a hoarse with excitement voice, came closer to Eoll and, sliding her arms around his neck, she kissed him.
And everything happened again, the same magic that worked before, and the time stood still and nothing else existed except for the two of them. His hot palms glided under her shirt and her hands were put on his stomach, but at this moment Sybil's comlink, hidden in her cloths, buzzed. She pulled off Eoll, because the magic was ruined.
- Damn it, I have to go, - she muttered, rushing to the next room, where she hoped to find her cloths. Eoll watched her leaving with regret.
- Well, I'm kinda have to go to work too, - he said.
