aespa (에스파 / エスパ) officially stylised as æspa, is a South Korean pop group formed under SM Entertainment. They made their debut on the 17th November 2020 with their first single, 'Black Mamba'. aespa are also under the American label Warner Records.

Meaning behind the group's name: The 'æ' in 'æspa' means 'Avatar X Experience' and the English word, 'aspect'. The name of the group is supposed to symbolise meeting your other self as an avatar and experiencing a new world.
