PROLOGUE

"Oya? If it isn't my very own Star" a bored voice appeared outta nowhere

I immediately looked to see Lucas smirking at me

WTF IS HE DOING HERE? I thought he's somewhere abroad?

"What? Surprise?" He asked as i continue to stare at him

I can't really get him out of my life huh.

I cut off my staring and continue walking

"Why are you here though? at the hospital?" He asked while walking beside me, trying to annoy me

Tsk, i didnt answer him

After all this time, how the hell did he found me?

"So you chose not to answer me?" I sighed, this stalker

"I have matters to attend here Lucas so stop bothering me" i said not looking at him, still walking

He snatched the bag I was carrying

"Where to?" He asked

I immediately stopped and face him

"Why are you here Lucas? I'm tired and I just got back from school, give me my bag"i tried to get it back but he moved it away

Fuck

I was tired so i snapped, i got so busy because of the classworks and academic works, aside from those is my part time job.

"Just calm down and tell me where to?" I sigh in defeat

I continued walking and let him follow me, he seems to be respectful enough to shut up

I stopped in front of a door and opened it

Bumulaga samin ang isang maliit na room, enough for 5 people to visit

"Come in"

I went to the man sleeping on the hospital bed

"Dad i'm here" i greeted him and blessed

Pumayat man ay halata sa itsura nito ang pagiging bata, he was only 19 when they had me.

"We have an unwanted visitor" kuwento ko rito

"Hey that hurts ha" Lucas reacted and i smirked

"Hello sir, it's Lucas, your future son-in-law" he stated smiling beside my sleeping dad

"In your dreams moron" i commented rolling my eyes

I started peeling some fruits for us to eat.

My dad is in coma

The company where dad works refused to take the blame after my dad fell victim for their lack of equipments, they shouldered the hospital expenses but still kinailangan ko kumayod, while being in school in the morning, I go here every chance that I can get after i'm finished with my part time job

I'm a 2nd year medical college student now and it is very tiring.

The company shoulders only the hospital bills but since di ko maalagaan talaga si papa naghanap ako ng caregiver na babantay sakanya at tututok everytime i can't and i personally pays for her.

Masakit man sa bulsa but I need to in order for me to go to school, aside from her, yung bayad pa sa ilaw at tubig sa bahay namin, thank god we're not renting but then there's the school fees and yung kakainin ko pa, there's just a lot.

Thankgod i also have scholarship allowance and yung sa savings ko kasi di ko ginagalaw yung kay papa.

I sighed from my thoughts

"Hey, what happened to tito? And how long has this been going on?" He made himself comfortable and sat beside me, inspecting everything in the room

He fell after the room that he is supposed to check at their site collapse, it wasnt supposed to be serious but he landed the wrong way

He hit his head and due to hemorrhage he needed to be operated

"Accident at work, its been 1 month" i answered shortly

"You seem to be pushing yourself too hard Miss, why didn't you tell me anything?" he said seriously

I don't care and i dont need to

"Are you bored Lucas? Why are you really here?"

"I'm visiting my future father-in-law"

"Stop with the jokes"

Dadagdag pa sa mangungulit sa buhay ko, these are tiring times so i can't jump in with those jokes of his right now

"But I was serious though?"

I stopped peeling the apples and looked at him

As i looked at him i began to wonder when,

when did this began again? This unspoken thing between the two of us that just grown as I ignore him?

Agad kong binawi ang tingin ko at bumuntong hininga

"Stop with all of these bullshits Lucas, i'm not having any of it"

"Darling, I was away for a while but now that i found you, you think i'll let you run?" He smiled deviously

I really hate him.
