The next morning I woke to the smell of eggs and waffles coming from the kitchen. I got up and made my way through the hall and down the the kitchen.
"Come in, have a seat, foods almost done" Sophia said to me and she put a plate in front of me.
"Thank you" I replied.
"The cops came around this morning looking for ya" I opened me eyes looking at her like I had just seen a ghost.
"Well what did you say" she turned of the stove putting food onto my plate.
"Well I told them that your living here for a while until you can find a place of your own" I almost crusted when she said that.
"They can't know! They'll send me ba-" she cut me off before I could talk anymore
"Hunny your 18, eat and get dressed Colsons gonna be here in a few minutes.
I ate the rest of my food and then made my way back into the room and into the bag Colson had brought back for me to wear. I went inside and picked the best outfit he had packed.

I walked back out and Colson was sitting at the table eating a plate of his own food.
"Hey are you ok, I heard about the cops stoping by this morning" he asked.
"Ya I'm ok, I was asleep" we all laughed and Sophia went about her day how she normally would.
"You ready to go?" I nodded my head as we said are goodbyes and left sophias house.
"So are we gonna talk about that kiss or are you just gonna ignore it like it didn't happen" he asked turning to look at me right as we got to the car.
I looked up into his eyes and licked me lips before grabbing the back of his neck, pulling him down a little to meet my face.
"I hope this helps explain it" I said before making are lips touch once again without any warning.
The kiss was long and powerful. I pulled away before licking my lips again, tasting his tongue once more as he looked into my eyes.
"That works for me" he open the door for me and we left Sophia's once and for all.
"Are we heading back to your place now?" I looked over at him.
"Ya I have to help the boys clean up. The cops completely destroyed the place." Keeping his eyes on the road he reached for my hand holding it in mine. His hands were giant compared to mine.
Not to long after we made it back to the house and where jumbled by a mess inside.
"Colson, they destroyed everything. Everything in your kids room, maddies room, are recording room. We could stop them" Colsons face turned red as he told me to go with rook. Him and slim made there way up to the recording room.
"You sleep ok yesterday, there was a lot going on, I'm sorry it had to end like that" rook said trying to make me feel better.
"Ya it's ok, don't worry about it, I am gonna help you guys clean this shit hole up tho. I mean it was my party and my fault the cops were called in the first place." He turned to me as I started picking up my close off the floor and bringing it back to the room.
" Maddie. This isn't your fault, it's the cops. Why would you think it's yours"
"Rook, I'm the reason Colson came and got me, bc I needed help. This is my fault. If I was still at home-" he cut me off and spoke loudly.
"If you were home, you would be hurting even more then you are right now. Don't play dumb. We can all tell your not doing ok. And that's fine, Colson couldn't know about something like that going on and not helping you." He pulled me in for a hug as I started crying into his arms.
"Hey, I hate to ruin the moment but we need to start cleaning up." Colson said as he dragged us out into the living room.
