(Kakashi P.O.V)

We both walked to the academy after that little race we had. We both talk a bit about the future and other things. We soon arrived at the academy. It was kinda getting late, but all Iruka had to do was get some paperwork and put grades on them, but I told him to take the paperwork and do it at home. I helped him out by carrying the paperwork while he was cleaning the classroom real quick. We soon started to get out of the academy and headed to Iruka’s home. I was trying to protect Iruka but he didn’t know I was protecting him. We were finally here at Iruka’s home. Going inside, it was nice and small, looking around he was also lonely. I put his paperwork on his desk and started to head out.

•“Welp, I should go home and get some rest.” I said, tired.

•“Oh, well I guess goodnight and be careful alright.” Iruka said, smiling at me.

•“ um… yea Goodnight.” I said, walking out the door.

Heading out and going home, I had a lot in mind. What if he had a lover already? Or maybe he doesn’t like anyone. He looks happy even though he doesn't have a lover. But I wonder if he is gay or not. If he isn’t then I guess I’ll be alone for now. But I should get to know him more, and maybe I have a chance. But hopefully we could just at least be friends even if I told him my feelings.... Finally I’m home, getting ready for bed and eating a late night snack. I started walking to my bed and lay down. While laying down and looking at the ceiling, I was thinking how we would live together if we were dating, like what would we do? So I just went to sleep to stop thinking about the future. 

(Next Morning)

Getting ready for the day, I just went around town to see if there are any new things around, but it was still the same like every other day. So I just went to the mountains and saw the whole village and calmly relaxed and read the book I bought, just like always. Few hours later passed by, and it was getting late already, so I stood up and went down to the mountains and went home. Walking down the path to the village, something caught my eye again just like always, turned and saw Iruka playing with the kids and talking to them. Seeing him running around and teaching how to do some jutsu. I was just watching him trying to not make him look at me. I keep on moving forward and trying not to look over at him again. So, I passed by the park and he was still there playing with the kids and having fun with them. I didn’t stand there for too long or else I would have looked like a creep, so I just headed to Ichiraku Ramen, and bought some food to eat there. While eating there slowly, I heard voices and it was Naruto and Iruka sitting right next to me, talking about stuff but I didn’t give a fuck about it. Thinking about stuff and not paying attention. I keep eating and not trying to show my face to them, someone tapped on my shoulder, which surprisingly made me look to see who did it. It was Iruka who tapped on my shoulder.

•“Oi Kakashi, are you alright? You didn’t listen to me when I called your name 3 times already.” Iruka said, kinda worried.

•“Oh sorry Iruka, I wasn’t really paying attention. I was thinking about some stuff.” I said trying to be cheerful.

•“Oh well, since Naruto left.. Wanna talk about what you were thinking abou-”

•“Oh no no no, I don’t really like to tell my thoughts to anyone.” I said, paying for the food.

•“Well I can tell you my thoughts if you want.” He said...
