Chapter: 11 Who is it?

"Sir, I discovered a wallet," Inspector Vivek tells Head Constable Roy.

Constable Roy examines the identity with caution. He recognizes the individual. He summons the other cops and instructs them to transport the body to the postpartum unit.

After four days, postmortem examinations reveal that the victim was slain with a sharp knife and stabbed three to four times, demonstrating a will to kill. He was a 24-year-old university student. Karan was his name, and he was slain near the construction area about 8:30 p.m. The murder weapon was discovered near a parked truck.

Constable Head was certain that the murder was committed as a form of vengeance against the victim.

The rumor went quickly across the village, but no one saw Karan with anyone that night, except for the watchmen who guarded the building site until 9 p.m.

"I observed a girl and a boy wandering about at that time," he told Inspector Vivek.
