chapter no: 12 confusion

Meera is terrified after hearing the news. Why was the weapon discovered near the spot where she passed out? Why was he assassinated near the construction site where she met Karan on that fateful night? The timings are correct. The locations are identical. Everything is in order.

Mom calls her, informing her that cops have arrived to conduct an investigation. She is becoming increasingly frightened to leave her room. She had a good idea who the murderer would be, but she kept quiet for the sake of her love and safety.

"Good day, Meera. I'm Inspector Vivek, and I've come to inquire about the night you were out. 

"Could you provide us any details?"

"Sure," says the baritone.

"What were you doing on February 14th?"

"I was on my way to meet a friend near the building site."

"Can you tell me who the friend was?"

"No, it was Karan," 

"How did you find out about Karan?"

"We met in the gym," 

"Are you two friends?"

"Absolutely," 

"Can you give us his phone number?"

"It's been off since February 14th."

"Do you have any idea where he lives?"

"No"

Inspector stares her in the eyes. She averts her gaze from him. She falls unconscious on the floor. Her mother shouts and grabs her. Meera has been admitted to a neighboring hospital.

Inspector in the corner ponders how Meera began to feel uneasy once he assumed Karan's name. His suspicions began to lean against Meera.
