It's been five days since Nixon was welcomed into the house. He seems to be adjusting okay, besides the fact that he constantly has this look on his face as though he's remembering something bad. He almost looks how I feel when I remember my past. I'm curious as to what's so bad it haunts him awake and in his sleep. Every night I hear him silently crying in his sleep, unable to do anything, I do my best to try to comfort him but I can tell there's not much else to be done. It kills me to see my little mate like this and it kills me even more that there's a possibility he could be even worse than this once I tell him the whole truth about me. Wondering what to do, I walk out the back door and into the forest. My forest. My home. The only place I can be alone and not have to worry about anything or anything for the short while I can just run and clear my mind. I wonder if my life and the people around me's life will ever be normal, well as normal and a werewolves life could get. I just want to grow old with my mate and sister by my side. Not having to worry about this damned demon inside me. Yeah I know that he hates it too, that my wold hates it. That none of us can do anything about it.
Walking into the deep depths of the forest I take a deep breath. Inhaling the fresh air I ready to shift when I hear a crack. Knowing it's my sister I turn a pointed stair towards her. She barks and motions for me to follow. Knowing what she wanted, I sighed and in one smooth motion, shifted. Hanging my tounge out of my mouth in a playful manner I nudged her, scaring her with assumably my size, seeing as I was easily the size of a large horse compared to her puppy sized wolf. Ah I forgot about trying to get her wolf to mature and grow into the size she should be at her age. Laughing, I nudge her, then start at a fast walk, waiting for her to catch up.
Once she matches my pace, I lead her to my favorite spot in the forest. We quickly reach our destination, and I sit down waiting for her to do the same. She sits down and tilts her head curiously. I shift, sitting down and once again wait for her to do the same. Since I'm half demon, my clothes don't shred like a normal werewolves does. I strip off my shirt and throw it at her, waiting for her to shift so I can explain what's going to happen.
"your still okay with this right? " I ask with a smirk as she stairs at me in shock.
"y-yeah I guess" she says as she gets up and readies herself.
