While Seonghwa and Hongjoong had centuries of money stashed in their accounts, they still needed something to keep them occupied. They couldn't just sit around in their house all day and be rich. However, there was a simple solution to this:
"You've got to be kidding me."
"Don't be like that Hwa, it's not all bad."
"Right, but when you suggested we get jobs, I thought you meant office work or maybe even flower arranging. Not running a cafe." Hongjoong's bright idea was to run a small bakery. He'd bought the store awhile back and had been wondering what to do with it all this time. A cafe sounded nice, and he had finished the renovations just the night before.
He was actually very proud of the work he had done. It was a relatively small building resting just at the end of a long street of shops and other establishments. Decorated with red and black, a checkered floor to go with it, Hongjoong decided to call it "Hell's kitchen" since he thought it was very on brand.
"Come on Hwa, you love baking." Said Hongjoong as they walked through the store. Seonghwa's eyes widened at the amazing decorations inside. Its rather dark pallet was something Seonghwa seemed to be a fan of, though his mood quickly turned sour.
"I like baking for you and our son only," he stated with a scoff. "Besides, now I'll have to interact with...with those!" Seonghwa glared at the people walking past the bakery, pointing an accusing finger at them.
"Exactly," Hongjoong tossed him a red apron. "Now you'll be forced to talk to them and feed them. So get back there." Seonghwa growled as he put the apron on, but suddenly, Hongjoong came over and kissed his cheek.
"What was that for?" Asked Seonghwa. "Not that I mind of course."
"Kiss the chef," Hongjoong read off the fabric. "As long as you wear that, you can get as many kisses as you want." Seonghwa smirked at him, wrapping his arms around the smaller demon and pushing him onto the front counter.
"Well, I want more." And who was Hongjoong to deny him? He instantly connected their lips, Seonghwa deepening the kiss, letting his hands travel across Hongjoong's body while the younger ran his fingers through his partner's beautiful dark locks.
Hongjoong leaned back as Seonghwa pushed forward, sliding his tongue into the other demon's mouth, exploring every inch of it. "Mmm Hwa~" Hongjoong moaned, Seonghwa now starting to bite his neck.
"That's right baby, moan for oppa."
Then the door opened. Seonghwa quickly pulled Hongjoong off the counter, both hastily straightening themselves out. "Hi, I noticed the 'help wanted' sign and I was wondering if- Oh! Hongjoong?"
"Mingi? What are you doing here?"
The younger man smiled at him. "Like I said, I'm here for the job. I wasn't expecting you two to be here."
"We actually own this cafe." Hongjoong explained, ignoring the annoyance of his husband who wanted to continue their session. "Why don't we do a quick interview then? Obvious question first- Can you bake?"
"Yes I can-"
"You're hired." Seonghwa interrupted. Mingi let out a cheer while Hongjoong turned to his husband in confusion. "You start tomorrow. Be here by half past twelve at the latest. Oh, and pull that help wanted sign down on your way out, will you?"
Mingi nodded. He thanked the two demons and left the bakery with a large grin. Hongjoong, on the other hand, stood there with his arms crossed and a frown on his face. "What?" Seonghwa questioned, immediately going to kiss his husband again. Hongjoong rolled his eyes and pushed him away.
"You can't just hire people on the spot!" He explained.
"Well I just did. Now come on, back on the counter-" Hongjoong's hand flew across Seonghwa's face, a loud slap echoing through the room. He pulled him closer by the ropes of his apron, looking at the older demon darkly.
"You never listen. You should be punished." Just like that, Seonghwa went from top to bottom.
"Yes master, sorry master."
"In the closet slut, let's go."

San quickly shuffled out of school, searching desperately for his parent's car. He spotted a black vehicle towards the back of the parking lot and practically sprinted towards it.
"Sannie! How was your day hun?" Asked Hongjoong as his son got into the passenger seat.
"Fine." San replied just a little too quickly. Hongjoong raised his brow.
"San-"
"No seriously. It was just fine. I uh, met this really nice boy. His name is Wooyoung. I've only got one class with him, but he gave me his number so I might be seeing him more often." Hongjoong spotted the red rise to San's cheeks and smirked. Still, he could tell there was something wrong. He'd just have to ask later he supposed.
