Since there was a lot of space in front of them, the two ended up sitting on the thinly carpeted floor of the van's interior. Kaminari took the Uno cards out of the box and shuffled them, drawing seven cards from the deck and handing it to Jirou. He then took seven for himself, setting the remainder of the deck upside-down on the floor in between them.

"What version are we playing?" Jirou asked. She wanted to clarify this before they started the round, in case there was any uncertainty, but she was fine with most variations of Uno.

Kaminari raised an eyebrow. "Uh, I'm not sure. I'm used to drawing one from the deck and that's the turn, instead of what some people like to do- continue drawing until there's a card you can put out. And, I'm used to stacking draw twos and draw fours- like, if you put out a draw two the next person can put a draw two over that. The last one I can remember is that when a person draws either two or four, they can't put down something after that. It's basically their turn. Anyways, I think that's all."

Jirou nodded. "We'll play it like that, then."

"You go first," He said, grabbing one card from the deck and flipped it over, gently laying it face-up on the floor as a base card.

"Hmm," Jirou murmured, examining all seven of the cards in her hands.

She had two reds, one yellow, three green, and a draw four. Besides the last card, the rest were all regular number cards. I'm saving the draw four for later, she thought. She always saved the draw four for last, a habit she had picked up ever since she'd started playing this game. It was for just-in-case purposes, in case the opponent or opponents had cards that she couldn't add on to. That way, she wouldn't have to draw from the deck...unless they used a draw two or draw four card on her. And in most occasions, the game rules allowed her to simply add her draw four over the other person's draw four, making them draw eight and ensuring her victory.

Jirou checked the base card on the floor. It was red, so she put down one of her red cards.

Kaminari inspected the seven cards in his hands. Two greens, three yellows, and two blues. One green was a draw two, and one yellow was a draw two. He had no reds. "Dammit," He muttered, frowning as he drew a card from the deck. Another yellow draw two. Maybe these draw twos will be useful later on.

Jirou gleefully watched him draw the card from the deck, although her expression remained stoic. She placed down another red. It was the last red card she had, meaning if the reds continued on, she would be forced to draw.

Helplessly, she watched as Kaminari drew another card from the deck. He placed down a wild card, deciding the color he wanted to change to. "Green."

A triumphant "yes!" escaped Jirou's lips, her eyes lighting up at the mention of green. It meant she didn't have to draw...for now, at least.

Kaminari chuckled nervously. "Should I be worried?" He asked.

"Depends," She replied, putting on a straight face.

He winked at her, placing down a green draw two. "Well, so should you."

"Pikachu!" She squealed in protest, poking him in the chest.

"Guys," Kirishima whispered, snapping his fingers to get their attention. They turned to look at him, and he pointed at the angry blonde in the front passenger seat. "Bakugou's sleeping..."

Oops, Jirou thought. "Sorry," She whispered back.

If they wake up Bakugou, well...neither of them wanted to die that day.

Jirou's gaze turned back to Kaminari, glaring at him. "You're mean," She whispered as she drew two cards from the deck. Both were normal yellow cards.

Kaminari gave her an evil grin. "I'm an evil mastermind," He joked, placing down a yellow draw two. "Draw two more, m'lady."

"I hate you," She whispered, glaring at the blonde as she drew two more cards from the deck. One was a blue draw two while the other was a wild card. Well, I guess that draw two he used wasn't a completely bad thing, she thought. Maybe she could save the wild for last as well.

Jirou now had three yellows, three greens, a blue draw two, one wild, and one draw four which was technically also a wild card. The draw four aspect of it was a nice bonus added to that.

Kaminari had one green, three yellows, and two blues. One of the yellow cards was a draw two. The rest of his cards were all normal numbers. His fingers gripped the yellow draw two, the last good card he had. Should I use it, or should I wait? He wondered. Fuck it. I'm using it now, he decided, placing down the card.

Jirou's angry expression turned into an adorable pout.

The sight of her caused Kaminari's heart to flutter, once again. But he ignored that and focused on the game, giving a wicked grin as he whispered, "Draw two."

Jirou sighed in defeat, about to draw from the deck when she realized she had a blue draw two in her hands. The corners of her lips curved upwards in a smirk. She placed down the draw two card in her possession, adding it to his. "Draw four, Kaminari."

Kaminari groaned, drawing four cards from the deck.

The game continued on for a while, until Jirou was left with her wild card and her draw four card. Kaminari had four cards left in his hands, all of them red. The current color for the game was red. He thought he could win...

Until Jirou placed down her draw four card. She learned to place the draw four first in games with the draw-and-your-turn-is-up rule, basically immobilizing the opponent's turn. It was in case they had a draw two or draw four card to use against her. She was so close to winning. The only thing that could stop her at this point was a draw four stacked on hers. "Uno," She said. "And, draw four."

She breathed a sigh of relief when Kaminari's face fell, with no choice left but to draw four. His turn was now up. "Color?" He asked half-heartedly.

"That won't be necessary," Jirou replied happily, placing her last card down. "I win!" She cheered, doing a little victory dance.

Kaminari's brow twitched. "Hey, you're supposed to say 'Uno out'," He accused, crossing his arms. "Otherwise you gotta draw eight."

Jirou gently poked him in the chest again. "We never agreed to that when the game started," She reminded him. "Nice try, sore loser."

"Alright fine, you win," He chuckled, admitting defeat. "But...I demand another round."

"Deal!"

From the front passenger seat, a fuming Bakugou screamed, "YOU BASTARDS WOKE ME UP!"
