Watching the light fade away leaves a rather cold feeling at the tips of my fingers
not quite numb, I grasp for warmth
Here at my lowest point, not even fear keeps me company
truly alone as I sink
I look into your eyes, empty and fading, light not escaping
A black hole, coming to swallow me up as I just sit here peacefully staring back
I look into your eyes and you don't look back
lifeless
The temperature decreasing, bit by bit, leaves me freezing with not even a glimpse of light
I look into your eyes but they are closed
I touch your skin but you are cold
Not even fear can keep me grounded
reality fades and the cold, lonely truth sets in
you're gone
