Chapter Twenty-Nine

"Guys!Today is the party! Get yourselves together!" She yelled at her brothers. "Rydel! It's literally 10㏂ We have 8 hours.Calm down!" Riker shouted at her. "Oh yeah? Do you know how long it takes to get ready!?" She asked. "Well us…15 minutes. You? Only god knows." Rocky said. She smacked him upside the head. "Watch it! This head is full of hair! I don't want to be bald before I'm 30!" He said. "But it lacks brain! Now get dressed and drive me to the mall!!" She shouted. "No!" He said. "Riker!!" She shouted. "Sorry baby sis…I'm in charge of the decorations." He said. "Who else is gonna take me besides Ross but he's with Laura and I can't intrupt that." She smiled. "Have Ryland take you." He said. "No. He always complains about how he can't-" They cut off. "She's a liar!" Ryland ran in glaring at her. "Rocky! Your coming and that's final!" She marched off. The guys laughed and walked away. He sighed.

"I love you."She pecked his cheek. "If I did that, she'd slap me again". He said. "Dad. How did you first win mommy's heart?" She asked. "Well. We…Uh…I" He stammered. "Yeah. I'm gonna go shopping with auntie and uncle. Good luck." She said walking out the door. He watched her just to make sure she was okay. She was up to something. Only Lynch do that to pull away attention. He turned around and she came downstairs. "Good morning." He greeted. She bit her lip and waved. "Are you okay?" He asked. "Hey. Do you have plans today?" She asked shocking him. "You want to hang out with me?!" He asked. "Forget it". She said turning to leave. "Wait up!" He said. She turned back towards him. "No and I would love to hang out."He said and smiled. "I just need help making my dress for tonight's party." She confessed. He checked her out. "What kind of dress?"He licked his lips. She rolled her eyes and walked away. "Laura! What kind!?" He asked following her.

She looked in the mirror. "Today's the day. I'll make this the best party ever." She smiled combing her hair. She fixed her dress and put on her heels. "Katie and Laura are now history. Kacey has just been ranked up. I will not be dumped and especially not  by a sexy rock star. I'm going to be his number one girl and always will be." She applied her lipstick. "May everything worth work itself out." She whispered and walked out the room.

"Welcome! Oh my god! You look gorgeous!" Rydel fangirled looking at Laura's outfit which just happened to match Ross. She chuckled. "Thanks. You look stunning by the way." She told her. "Thanks. Selfie!" She said posing for a picture. "You too Katie." She said. They took pictures. "Look! Daddy." She pointed to the guy approaching them. She winked and walked away. "D-" She was already gone. "I'm gonna go get some punch." Katie said and started to walk away. "Stay away from the red bowl. Get a juice pouch from the fridge." She told her. She smiled and continued walking away. "Wow. You look amazing. You can thank my amazing stitching later." He said. She looked at him like he was stupid. "I had to stitch this over 7 times because you kinda stitched my shoulder to my butt." She said looking back. "Psh…Okay." He said sarcastically. Something dropped. She picked it up. 'Try me bitch.' She looked around. She had a confused look on her face. "What is that?" He asked reaching over towards her. She leaned back hiding it out of his sight. "Oh. Nothing." She said. He grabbed her and tried to get it from her. She moved it to her front so he was looking behind her. They looked like they were hugging. 'Just what I thought. She doesn't love me anymore.' He walked away sadly. "Get off me!" She pushed him off. "Where is it?!" He asked looking around. She put it in her bra as he looked away. The advantage. She laughed and walked away. "Wait! I got to ask you something." He said following after.

"What?" She asked. "I want to do something special tonight. I know it's been quite awhile but I think I'm finally ready." He said. She looked around. "I think your talking to the wrong person." She said. "No. I'm talking to you." He said. "There's something I need to ask and I'm sure if I can ask." He said. "What is it?" She asked. "Are you going to be okay with it?" He asked. "Of course. Why wouldn't I be?" She chuckled lightly. "Oh." His face falls. "You wouldn't be mad at me?" He asked. "No." She said with a straight face. "How about Katie?" He asked. "You'll have to ask her about it." She said. He smiled slightly. "Okay. I will." He said. "Good. Well I'll go over there." She said and turned to walk away. He grabbed her wrist. She looked at him. He bit his lip. She tried to pull it away but he held on tighter. "Ross…" She started. He pulled her into a hug. She slowly hugged back. He held her tighter. It was his was off saying goodbye.

"Can I have everyone's attention please!?" He asked. Everyone stopped talking and looked at him. "Kacey…" He started. She walked smiling. "We've been together for awhile now. I think its about time I did this. I love you." He said. She smiled and walked closer holding his hand. "I wanna spend the rest of my life with you and the way we started was a bit wrong but the wrong felt so right. You mean the world to me. I don't care what anyone says about you. Your the one I wanna be with the rest of my life. At the end of the day, I love you and that's all that matters." He said. She started to tear up. "Kacey Miller…Will you marry me?" He asked. Everyone gasped as he pulled out a ring. She smiled brightly. "Yes! Yes! A million times Yes!" She said. He slipped the ring on her finger and everyone cheered as they shared a kiss. She stomped off. "Katie!!!" Her mom called her as she ran after her.
