You live with your little brother, Sean. Your parents died when you were little. You're 14 now. You got an apartment to share with your younger brother, he is 10. You were a normal girl in high school. But you were kind of, well.....a nerd. You loved to hack stuff. You also loved to game, and when Sword Art Online and the Nerve Gear came out you couldn't help but be excited. And to top off the awesome news, S.A.O is accepting 1000 people to be beta testers. You just HAD to get in. You sent in a request, as did Sean. One night while you left work and stopped to go get groceries. (You didn't make much money due to child labor laws. You only had a part time job.) You came home to find Sean on your laptop.
"Did you hack my laptop again?"
"Yeah!"
"Was it hard?"
"Nope!"
"Good job. I will definitely change my password later. So what's going on?"
"I checked my email.....I didn't get in the beta testing." He was so disappointed. He looked like he was going to cry.

"There is still a chance I got in." He handed you your laptop. you logged in and found the email from S.A.O.
"Congratulation! You were selected to be a Beta Tester for Sword Art Online. Good luck and have fun!" you read out loud.

"OH MY GOD!!! YOU GOT IN!!!!" Sean flung his arms around your shoulders.
".....oh my god. This is amazing." your voice was barely above a whisper.

~time skip to beta testing~

"Welcome to the official start of the Beta Testing. The goal is to make it as far as possible in the 10 day limit. Your character will be deleted after testing is over. You will have to make a new character once the game opens to the public to make the game fair. And as an added bonus you will get to keep your Nerve Gear AND take one for a friend to play alongside you! Now without further adieu, LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!!!"
And with that Beta Testing began.
You ran to a station but ran into a guy. you fell backwards and the guy fell on top of you. It was a very awkward position.

"Ugh..get off me!" you whined at the guy wondering if he was even listening. He got up a lent you a hand.
"Oh sorry. I wasn't paying attention."
"yeah I kind of figured."
"How can I make it up to you?"
"You can go hunting with me."
"Sounds cool. Well my names Kirito."
"Oh well my name's (y/n)"
