I've come to realize today that humans are truly selfish beings. When their loved one is there with them, that person doesn't really think to care or worry about them not being there. Just like casually saying, "I love you" to each other over the phone, that person won't stop to truly think about the meaning behind those words. As long as that loved one is there to love them, to speak to them, or even just to be there for them, they won't give a care.
But then suddenly one day, something happens to their loved one; they're gone, they aren't there anymore. Because of this, that person begins to cry. But why should they? Because of sadness? Loneliness? Yes. But it's also because their loved one isn't there to speak, to love, or to be there for them.
Only as humans, we are truly satisfied as long as our loved ones are there to surround us with out needs; our selfish, humanly needs.
