Born Again!

Ephram just died. Blood spewing from his body everywhere. No one would've guessed his Chainsaw-Wielding Bear would ever touch him, but it seems as if he was taunted by his tallness. The Autopsy report shows it was a Drug overdose, but I know better. I shouldn't have let this happen, yet here we are.

It's been two weeks since the incident, we just held his funeral, with his family and dearest friends in attendance, it was almost too much to handle, I bursted into tears once the ceremony began. "It's okay Levi" Ephram's Ex Girlfriend Olivia tried to comfort me, they broke up on very good terms, all i could remember was how happy Ephram was with her, until he broke up with her. "It wasn't your fault. You couldn't have known it would happen... here, chew on this." She hands me a Granola Bar, I refuse, but she insists. I take a nibble, and it was so delectable, I started laughing hysterically, completely oblivious to the funeral procession. "Hey, hey, hey." Jeremiah states, I figured he'd tell me to be quiet so I bit his ear off. Screaming in Pain, he rebuttals with "I was just gonna ask for a bite..." So I return his ear, and gave him the rest of the Granola Bar as an apology. As I sit back down, in walks Gabby Karasek. Having hated Ephram all her Life, it was unusual for her to be here. Sure enough, she wasn't here for the funeral, she walked through the doors, ran all the way down the aisle, jumped into the casket (for it was an Open Casket), and started punching and pounding Ephram's already Scarred Face. It was such a beautiful scene, nature is amazing. We carried the Casket out and went to his burial place, and placed the casket down the hole, and asked Gabby to move. He was gone for good, and I was severely depressed.

I returned home to finish packing his stuff up to put in storage. I start crying taping up the last box, letting out a weep, "WHY GOD? WHY COULDN'T IT BE ME?! WHY THE FU-" before I could finish my statement, in walks Jackson my brother. "Oh, hey Levi!" he says with a grin, "Why don't you let me get that?" He is very wholesome. He picks up the box and takes it to the truck. Walking through our house, we pass by Tommy and Marie Making out, very typical, though just felt so new with Ephram gone. "We used to make fun of them for being together... I always laughed at them." I said. Suddenly, I felt an Impulse in my body, I quickly ran over and kicked T. Quincy in the crotch area, and threw Marie out of the window.

What was that? Was I possessed? I swear that wasn't me... I ran to the Bathroom, looked in the mirror, and there he was: Ephram, standing behind me. I turned around, but he was nowhere to be found. He was only in my reflection. "Sorry I had to Possess you for a second..." he began "I just hate Tommy, he scarred my hand once 4 Years ago", I told him that it was alright, and asked how he's alive. "I'm not. I've just separated my Spirit from my body, allowing me to not only to move around freely and see everything, but possess people too!" I was shocked. My body was hit by goosebumps, and I splashed water in my face to see if it was real, it was.

We spent the day talking, and hanging out. I brought a mirror with me to the supermarket, and we danced in the parking lot together. We then had an Ice Cream break, Ephram States "Hey Levi, I have to do some Dead People stuff now, but will you do me one last favor?" "Of course Ephram. Whatever you'd like." I say, moments before tragedy hit. "I need you to dig up my body," Ephram says, "I need you to dig it out and put it under the ol' Willow Tree downtown in 3 days." Shocked by what he was asking me to do, he left just like that, without even saying goodbye. Of course, I wanted to do it for my friend as his last wish. I finished my ice cream cone (it was Vanilla Bean) and went on my way.
