The Adventures of Ahsoka Tano

Padme's POV

"Master Skywalker, Master Kenobi welcome back," I say.

"My lady, what a pleasant surprise," Anakin says kissing my hand.

"Greetings Senator," Obi-Wan says.

"Congrats on another mission well done."

"Thank you, Senator," Obi-Wan says. "Excuse me but I must report on the mission," Obi-Wan said leaving.

"You want to go back to the apartment?" I ask.

"Yes darling," he said.

We walked back to the apartment quickly not to be seen. We enter the apartment and I close the door. Anakin sat down on the tan sofa.

"Ani what's wrong?" I ask, sitting down next to him.

"It's Ahsoka she left the order," he said breaking down in tears.

"I heard about that. It's awful that she had to go through it" I said.

"I failed her," Anakin said.

"No, you didn't. You never stopped believing in her and you brought Barriss to justice."

"I should have done something to convince her to stay," he said.

"It was her choice; she speaks so highly of you and everything you went through to save her. You didn't fail her, in fact, you saved her and now she doesn't have to fight in this awful war," I say.

"But she doesn't have any credits so how will she survive?" he asked.

"Well..." I started.

"Well, what?" Ani asked looking up at me.

"I bumped into her a few days ago and she's been staying here but right now she's on some quest on Yavin 4 to find something about Grey Jedi"

"Grey Jedi?" he asked.

"Yes," I answered.

"I wish I had paid attention in Obi-Wan's boring history classes now" Anakin jokes.

I laughed, "Maybe ask Obi-Wan about it or Master Yoda."

"Oh, I will. Thank you for helping her" he said smiling.

"Anything for her. Now, don't you need to get back to the temple?" I ask.

"Sadly," he said, kissing me on the forehead.

I watched Anakin leave the room much happier than before.

I sigh with relief. I'm so glad he took that well.
