It happened on a cold silent night.
Some would say it was fate.
Dahyun was a seventeen year old on a school trip she almost didn't get into because of her demerit points.
Sana, aged twenty two, was offered her very second role when the original woman casted had fallen ill.
Under these circumstances, both girls found themselves walking on the same path towards the orange tinted town, stomping to prevent the knee level snow from squeezing into their shoes.
"It doesn't seem like it's going to work," Dahyun said, raising her voice slightly, making sure the young woman infront knew she was talking to her.
Sana turned her head.
Her blonde semi curly hair, her eyes that seemed to have only been created for the sole purpose of hypnotising anyone that looks into them. Dahyun swore she was the most beautiful woman she had ever seen.
"Wait! I know you! Aren't you from the movie New Life? Natalie?" Dahyun said before Sana could respond to her initial comment.
A smug smile grew on Sana's face. It was a simple sentence, what Dahyun said. Little did she know she was the first person to recognise her from screen.
"Well, Natalie is my characters name, I'm Sana," She smiled, no longer stomping, just standing still facing the girl behind her.
Dahyun quickly hopped to her side.
"What brings you here?" Dahyun asked, trying to hide the fact that Sana was probably the most beautiful woman she had ever met.
"I'm not sure if I can say this, but between you and me," Sana said, looking around to see if anyone was listening.
Dahyun found it adorable. It was clear as day that no one was around.
"I'm here to shoot a new movie," Sana said, smiling to herself.
The Sana five years ago would never have imagined that she would get to say such a sentence.
"Wow! What is it about," Dahyun was astonished.
"I'm the second female lead..."
And like that, they talked for another twenty minutes before reaching the small town.
"Where are you heading to?" Dahyun asked, unwilling to part with her.
She'd only known her for less than half an hour, but Dahyun was convinced she was in love.
"I'm going to get a hot drink, wanna come?" Sana offered, tilting her head to a near by cafe.
This was when Dahyun was sure the feeling was at least a tiny bit mutual. Why else would Sana invite her?
—
The cafe was quiet with only a friendly woman behind the counter and two men in the kitchen packing up.
"I'm sorry, we're closing soon, we only have drinks available now," The woman said, giving the two girls an apologetic look.
"That would be perfect," Dahyun smiled, looking at the menu.
"Two hot chocolates please," Sana told the woman, as she gently grabbed Dahyun's wrist and led her to the small booth.
"You seemed like a hot chocolate person, like me," Sana shrugged, answering the question Dahyun was just about to ask.
"Well, I am," Dahyun chuckled, scanning the new environment.
"This place is cool! You come here often?" Dahyun asked.
