It was late,I was on my way home from the dirty back street kebab shop,I call work.The night air gently breathing down my neck.There was hardly any source of light,except the odd street lamp.Which made the wet pavements glisten.How did i manage years on the streets? Muffled out music came from the clubs and bars,along with the large crowds and the overwhelming smell of alcohol and tobacco.It had been raining earlier that night, so I was in a hurry to get back home since I didn't have any kind of jacket or sweater to keep me warm.I kept my eyes to the ground and walked forward, apologizing to the drunken idiots i bumped into.I kept my focus on the music as i passed each building, mumbling along to the lyrics. I guess I should introduce myself,my names Charlotte, no one really nicknames me,I mean I don't know many people.Id tell you about my family and how great were doing,but it's not like that. I'm alone. To be honest I'm not really doing great for myself,I'm 24 and working at a back street kabab shop. Education didn't really work out for me, I spend a lot of time in hospital. Battered and bruised by the acts of my parents. If that's what you call them. They fled once things got serious and the 'She fell over' excuses weren't successful anymore. I don't know where they are,although if they walked past right now id probably forgive them. I just miss a family, I want one of my own one day. It would help if I was interested in men,but that isn't the case.I've never really been interested in men,I've fancied girls ever since I remember. I don't really pass as a stereotypical lesbian. I have long light brown hair with blonde highlights and I wear a little makeup but I'm all for natural. I have quite a small frame and I try and work out when I have a little spare time.
