Everyone was extremely chatty here, sort of friendly as well - as far as Renjun could deduce. The table held up to ten people, which was the kindest number one could produce when random strangers weren't likely to congregate as more residents would surely arrive. The two seats on either end of the grand table were empty, leaving four facing four.

Renjun was a bit uncomfortable between two men he hardly knew, and opposite Jaemin who kept kicking his ankles to be annoying. We aren't five! He wanted to snap, though refrained while in the company of others.

"This is so weird," Taeyong, to the right of Jaemin and left of the girl chuckled. "When was the last time all of you were home together? Two or three months ago?"

"I've been busy, I will admit," the dark-haired male beside the small Chinese boy hummed while leaned against his palm in a somewhat sophisticated way. He glowed like an ethereal angel, and had he not told Renjun to sit beside him, the young adult would've assumed he was untouchable.

That's just how he felt.

"Mark, take a break next week," Donghyuck on Renjun's other side demanded while taking his glass into his hand. He leaned forward to look past the newest tenant, "When the hell is the drama over?"

"I still have another two months of filming to do, Love. I'm sorry."

Filming? Oh, is he a photographer for series and movies? The blonde thought internally while meekly poking his rice with his chopsticks. Both males smelt amazing, like pine, Black Forest and fresh linen. Why they had similar scents was actually a wonder that missed Renjun's typically keen attention.

"Okay, so is anyone going to introduce this person to me, or what?" The ravenette female across the table asked without sounding polite. She seemed like she got whatever it was she wanted, which bothered Renjun down to the ground already. Hell, he didn't even know her name.

"Oh, right," Mark suddenly smiled radiantly when he realised his mistake. "Everybody, this is Huang Renjun. He's living in room sixteen now, if you haven't already noticed, and will hopefully make for a nice new friend."

"So he was telling the truth?" Jisung pressed, "He's actually staying here? On our floor?"

"Mmm," the older nodded. "I thought he looked pretty cute, so I told Taeyong to accept his form. Don't you agree?"

Renjun awkwardly choked on his water and tapped his chest repeatedly in a hurry. "C-Cute?!"

"Point taken, but why?" One of the strangers that had yet to be named spoke up from the other side of Jaemin. He had a soft voice, which was surprising when compared to his strong build. "I thought we agreed we'd all vote for new arrivals."

"I wanted to surprise you."

"Mark, you can't just play games like that-"

"Guys," Taeyong raised his chopsticks in the air and was quite possibly just as confused as the blonde was, though was better at covering it up. "Inside conversations aren't fair on the two of us who are still getting to know you all. Let's run through a couple of names or something instead, yeah?"
