(Chapter 1)The Meeting Of Darkness

October 6th 1991-
Yesterday & Today Records (Miami)

A gusty day was blasing outside of the record shop. The small scene in florida was outside chattering something about a new front of spooky kids. A new world was about to begin-----

Sitting in an awkward chair I was in charge of the cash register.Getting bored of watching the shop door rustling from the force of the wind trying to gustle its way in. With the shop mainly empty I focused my attention to a poster hanging on the wall "could this day be anymore draining?" I muttered to myself.
Suddenly the door was pushed open, then a shadow appeared from behind it with 4 more shapes to accompany it. At first I glanced up for no more than 5 seconds as the group shifted off towards the back of the vinyl store.Suddenly my ears pricked up on them muttering about the kiss vinyls that were placed in the front window of the shop.

Scruff.. scruff.. scruff.. I heard the cluster of their boots moving more further towards to the front of my desk. To try and not make myself seem like I'm not bored at my work station I quickly picked up my magazine. I then glance up from my magazine to see a skinny white man in plastic pants,slender was his appearance with long striking black hair,eyes as brown as chocolate with a lip ring to seal off a sexy, sort of innocent look to himself.

Behind this strange man was his possy, one man had bright green ends with purple roots and dark black sunglasses but these didn't hide his odd smirk. Beside him a bloke with a goatee with a red and black stripped jumper was starting off into the distance. Funnily enough behind him, turned around looking at the posters on the ceiling was a fragile looking long haired dude slowly spacing out to the high density colours that were on the poster. Giggling besides the man with the lip ring was a very happy looking chap, his grin was so wide as if he was posing for a photo dressed in bright floral clothing.

Then a shy voice pulled me out from my day dreaming saying "Hey how much do you want for this vinyl? there was no price listed on it" the man in the plastic pants asked me. I Looked up and said "I'm so sorry about that that will be $2.99". He then goes into his skin tight pants to pull out some change and he slides it across the table. I then collect the change and put it into the cash register.His eyes dart up towards mine and he says "Hey have you heard of our band Marilyn Manson and the spooky Kids?". I stuttered a bit at first "unfortnally no" I said with my heart pacing a small amount. "Oh right I have some flyers here for our next show in few days it is". He hands me 5 of these flyers with a small grin on his face. "well if you get spare time could you hang these in your shop they would be very helpful for promoting our show".

I reply quickly "yes this will be fine for me to do but maybe towards the end of the day". "Cool Cool" he goes. An awkward silence fills the air, then the brightly hair coloured man says "well aren't you gonna introduce us to this lovely lady?" he giggles lightly. The man with the lip ring darts his eyes at him and says "alright smart ass I will, My name is called Marilyn Manson and these sarcastic blokes are my spooky kids". The bloke with the crazy hair says "my name is Gidget Gein lady and I'm a bit crazy but that's between you and me" he adds with a wink. Then the crazy coloured hair man points at the spaced out man "that is Madonna Waynne Gacy and I'm pretty sure he's on something." beside him in the basic jumper is Sarah Lee lucas he's a pretty quiet lad".Then the man in the plastic pants buts in and says "this is Daisy Berkowittz.. He's very cheerful with alot to say about himself". Daisy then slides into the conversation"yes I do our band have been around for about 3 years now.. Hopefully we will be become a massive success one day but at the moment we're only known locally in Florida ".

Manson nudges Daisy awkwardly to silence him from talking too much. Gidget says to the rest of the band members" come on let's go I'm starting to get too hot in this place" he
Then looks at Manson with a slight smirk"are you coming then Manson?" Evil darts come between them both and Manson sighs and says" I'll come out in a few minutes I just want to talk to the cashier about possibly getting some more of our future shows advertised in this place ". Gidget looks at Manson and says" we'll see you in a few minutes then" he added with a wink.
