Midnight Feelings....

The end of the road.

I don't know where this road will lead us,

But I would love to walk down, hand in hand with you.

Stumbling as we try to cross all the obstacles,

I will hold you up and steady, and wish for you to hold me too.

With all the twists and turns, I will never run,

I will always be there by your side, and wish for you to be here too.

In the cold rainy weather, when all you can see is the darkness,

I promise to be the source of your light, I will be your shield like the tree.

And sometimes if you want to go left and I want to go right,

We wait patiently by the side, hoping it won't create a barricade,

But wait for someone to guide.

In the night when it's dark, we shall count the stars.

I will stay up all night with you, letting your tears fall on my tee.

The route that we choose, will be filled with roses and thorns,

I won't say I can protect you from all, but I will be there when you are hurt,

This will make us strong.

Back on the road when it gets hazy,

I wish to hold your hand tight and hope you'd be there by my side,

Even if we have to walk miles.

On windy nights, we hold each other tight,

Your arm around my shoulder will bring a smile to my face,

In return I won't disappoint you with a kiss.

Cherishing the little dew drops on the leaves caused by the fog

We walk through it all.

During the ups and the downs of the road,

I will hold out my hand for you to take, and wish we help each other throughout.

Through the changing seasons,

I will stay by your side, and wish you'd stay with me too.

The uneven road will be harsh on our feet, but I hope we never part our ways.

We then continue our journey to a destination unknown.

With you I'd love to walk till the end of the road.
