WHAT IS OMEGAVERSE?

OMEGAVERSE is an AU (Alternative Universe) in which not only female, but also males can get pregnant and produce offsprings. It isn’t always the most popular AU, but still used by others. In this system, there are three main roles: Alpha, Beta, and Omega.

HOW DO THEY KNOW EACH OTHER?

First, at birth, the doctor will announce the gender (Male or Female). In some verses, you can pay to have test done to determine the baby’s secondary gender, whether the baby is an Alpha, Beta, or Omega. In others, you have to wait until they reach the age 12-24 years old to find this out. Therefore, in a way, you have two genders: The Male/ Female gender and the Alpha/ Beta/Omega as your secondary gender.

ALPHA:

✓ They are generally dominant and able to impregnate Omegas.
Usually have a knot when aroused. In some verses, they have knotting, wherein it basically means that the Alpha’s penis enlarges at the base to lock inside the Omega, giving them a better chance at breeding and producing offspring. All the Alphas have larger penises and are the ones to fight over an Omega.
✓ In some works, Female Alphas are also able to impregnate other Omegas. Some will temporarily grow a penis to do so, or their vulva will permanently grow into one when they present. And they cannot get pregnant, so the womb doesn’t exists.
✓ Paired Alphas may be jealous and possessive towards their mate.
✓ They experience heat, and also something called “Rut” where the Alpha experiences sexual frustration and an intense need to mate and pass on their genes. When the Alpha is in Rut, and knotted on the Omega they having sexed with, there’s a high possibility that the Omega will get pregnant. (Author’s Reminder: In the story of mine, which is this DANGEROUS ALPHA Series, Alphas in heat can’t impregnate the Omega they’re having sexed with. They do experiences sexual frustration and intense need to mate, yet this is different when they’re in rut.)
✓ They are born with superior appearance and intelligence. They have traits of a rare, charismatic leader. They are known as elite types.

BETA:

✓ They are the subordinates to Alpha and may or may not be able to impregnate Omegas. Male Beta can’t be impregnated by an Alpha or their same kind which is the Male Beta.
✓ They are often presented as having a “normal” human anatomy. They doesn’t have any attributes that is present to Alphas and Omegas such as having heat, rut, etc. They are peacemakers between Alphas and Omegas.
✓ They do have very weak scent that is calming to Omegas and Alphas.
✓ They can maintain themselves, their reasons and self-control since they can’t be affected by the pheromones released by Omegas and Alphas.
✓ They doesn’t have heat cycle.
✓ They comprise over 70% of the human population. Features such as physical and behavioural traits are generally normal.

OMEGAS:

✓ They are generally the lowest on the hierarchy (Although in some works, Omegas are rare and prized).
✓ Male Omegas are self-lubricating and have the ability to get pregnant, sometimes referred to as being breed or mated.
✓ Omegas are submissive.
✓ They undergo heat wherein that’s the only time that they’re fertile.
✓ Male Omegas are the smaller ones with less muscles and small penises.
✓ A rare breed wherein the pregnancy is quite possible to happen, especially to male Omegas. On the other hand, Omegas revered because an Alpha individual is born out of an Omega. However, because Omegas experience heat that no one restrains himself or herself from, so they are seen as inferiors. Therefore, when it comes to any work their employers do largely not give them high positions.
