After the event, the bride and her girls returned to her father's guest house and had relaxing showers.
The tired ones were soon slumped on the beds and fast asleep while some were on the phone with their boyfriends and Fadilah with her husband.
"What was that b*tch thinking showing up like that at the Cocktail?" Khalthum asked Amna.
"Who?" Amna asked, pretending to be oblivious.
"That his cousin, she looked all shades of a hoe and even went hugging him, she get mind oo!" Khalthum said clearly pissed.
"She hugged me too," Amna laughed.
Khalthum pulled Amna from the couch and they headed to the kitchen.
"What is wrong with you, Amna? You know she loves him koh? Can't you see? Are you blind?" Khalthum asked.
"I know but it doesn't matter, we're getting married, he doesn't love her." Amna sighed.
"What did she say to you when she hugged you? Don't even lie, I was watching" Khalthum asked.
"Oh My God, Tums!!! " Amna rolled her eyes.
"She said I looked too basic for a bride and that I could do better," Amna laughed."She is veryy stupid, when next I see her, it's on sight, I will remove her f*cking teeth I swear to God. She wore those Van Cleef earrings fah, isn't that the most basic thing now." Khalthum blared.
Amna threw her head back and laughed hard
"Khalthum please, calm down, I don't want no gangster shit"."Noooo, that was insolent of her, you can clearly see and both you and I know she's capable of doing whatever it takes, wallahi be careful, Amna" she warned.
"You're taking panadol for my headache Tums, you always do." Amna sighed.
"I can't sit and watch you do nothing. Boundaries babeee, boundariessss!! you need to stand up for yourself, set boundaries, tell him you don't like her".
"Did I mention not liking her, Tums?" Amna laughed.
"I'm not joking here!" Khalthum smacked Amna on the thigh.
"I'll tell my babe you are bullying me." Amna laughed rubbing her thigh.
"Tell him please, shima zan hada da shi idan yayi shirme - I will include him too if he messes up" Khalthum hissed.
"Allah ya baki hakuri- We are sorry, Hajja Khalthume." Amna laughed.
"What did you say to her toh? Did you stand there and stare at her?" Khalthum glared at Amna.
"I asked when her own wedding is, she thinks she's that girl, right? Where's her husband then?" Amna laughed and Khalthum hissed.
"Very stupid girl, only God knows what I'd have told her if I was there."
Amna laughed and changed the topic.

The Henna Party décor at the Amna's house was perfect. She wore the most exquisite saqi outfit, a homage to her fulani ancestry.
So many henna artists were doing their thing. It was not a big event, it was just family and friends- strictly the women getting their hands and some even their feet done.
