I arrived home at around 3am once the storm calmed down. Nothing else mattered to me , I just wanted to melting onto my bed after a long ass day of work.
I walked into the elevator and pressed a button , I laid my head onto the wall feeling the elevation rise up .
"You have arrived" chimed the elevator. I peeled open my eyes and started digging inside my pocket for my keys. There were only a few floors with two or three apartments in each luckily mine was on the second and was the closet to the elevator. I took out my keys and tried opening the door, but they wouldn't budge.
"Fuck are you kidding me right now." I groaned , I desperately needed a shower and my bed ASAP any longer standing in these heels I'd definitely would collapse onto the floor.
"Fucccck come on not today" I tried one more time and it went into the keyhole. The door finally openedz
"Who are you and why are you trying to open my door???" A rich raspy accent said, I looked up at the direction it came from . My eyes widened as I saw at least a 6'1 foot tan muscular man stood at the door way, with a killer smile that would make anyone women melt, his slick black hair hung on the sides of his face, wearing a white T that clung onto his biceps ... just right almost a perfect fit around hind arms ... leaving him wearing sweatpants that hung dangerously low revealing his deep cut v line. He hung over me like a tower waiting for an answer .
" I asked you a question." He repeated looking down at me. He lick his lips and raised his eyebrow at me.
Haven't seen a man this attractive in awhile
" This isn't my apartment ???" I snapped back and groaned in annoyance. I started pulling out my keys that got stuck in his keyhole . Great now I look dumb in front of this attractive man.
"Mmmm no but for you I could make it yours if you wanted to come in that bad." he teased ,
My face started feeling warm I looked away hoping he wouldn't see my face .
Instead he looked at the keys
" you know you're pretty strong for that , I don't know how you tiny self would do that" he took out the keys with two tries.
" these are yours" he dropped them into my hand , he looked at me eyeing at me with one of the darkest eyes I've ever seen. Almost sparkly in a way like a dark crystal . He yawned making him lean onto the door and drop his head down
"I- my bad I'm super tired and I thought I was on the right floor I could of swo-"
"You look cute rambling but I'm tired so let's call it a night" he sent a wink my way. He began closing the door and I turned away
" out of all the days I had to met a guy like this" His ego filled up the hallway surrounding me. I can only imagine the rest of his personality.
"I'll walk you to your apartment. wouldn't want some creep jumping out at you" he added while grabbing something behind him. He threw on a sweater without zipping it up
"You're not cold ??" I asked looking away not trying to make anymore awkward eye contact.
" No , but you can look it doesn't hurt me. Makes up for you waking me up." His raspy voice echoed through his throat.
This probably the most cockiest man I've ever encountered.
As we walked up to my apartment floor I noticed how tall he actually was. I felt like a kid next to him for some reason it made me feel weird .
" if his ego's that big I can imagine what els- "
I thought to myself , I shook my head violently trying to shake off the thought of this man I barely met.
He looked at me and laughed deeply .
Something about him ... I couldn't put my finger on . I always trusted my gut it's the reason why I'm in the position I'm in in my life .
I took out my keys and opened my door .
" I'm here thanks for walking me sorry about that ." I murmured keeping eye contact onto the door. I heard tiny feet running up the door as I peeled it open
"Baby boy get back" I made space for my puppy Leo to move away before I opened the door completely.
" A pug?" He looked down at Leo and crouched next to me. Leo ran up to him excitedly and start jumping on him . He started petting him gently with his thumb . His hands were bigger than Leo himself it was almost adorable.
"Yeah 10 months" I replied
He let Leo go and stood up and yawned , his body became visible with the light showing off his board chest and abs.
"Thanks again sorry about that I'm Amarni by the way ... goodnight" I looked up again and gave a weak smile.
" Armani? I like the sound of that I'm Alessandro. Buttt you can still make it up to me by letting me take you out for dinner" he smirked placing his hands into the pocket of his sweater . He look down at me with cocky eyes and a smile his full lips opened showing his white perfect teeth .
"Mm no. I'm not that type. Cute plan wrong bitch." I answered . He raised an eyebrow and looked a bit taken back but it seemed like it assumed him because it looked Ike he wanted to laugh.
"I like a challenge anyways.Tomorrow at 6pm" He laughed while walking away. I rolled my eyes and closed the door and leaned back on it
"Lucky he doesn't even know where I work or who I am.. although it would be nice to go out someone ... but I hate the cockiness" I sighed and took of my jacket and threw my purse onto the couch.
That's something new ...
