I walked outside the dacaying wooden door to find out that the grey, cold winter had ended and the garden was blooming and filled with vibrant, lively colors. I grabbed the woven basket, put some books in it from the little shelf next to the door and went in the garden. The forgotten feeling of the sunlight hitting the top of my head made me feel like warm golden light filled every cell of my body. The birds didn't waste any time to welcome me by chirping a happy melody - a melody so familiar yet so distant. I couldn't wait to explore this seemingly new world that kept on surprising me with every moment.I walked down the little path outside my house, that lead to a wide and grassy river bank. The clear, calm waters of the river made me feel at peace. I gently took off my dirty boots and submerged my feet in the warm waters. The wind brushed through my face and my eyelids started to get heavier and heavier...until suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder. My eyes opened like a butterfly flapping its wings and I looked to the right of me. There I saw an unfamiliar figure. Tall, pale and with a sweet smile she stood there. Her white, almost transparent dress was calmly waving in the wind, almost like it would define the body it was on - but that wasn't really the case.
-Hello ?
- Hello, darling.
I was looking in her eyes as if in a mirror. They were so familiar, yet I couldn't quite put my finger on it,so I decided to ask.
-Do we know each other ?
She didn't respond, instead she looked away. I decided to get up and put my shoes on.
-Um, do you need help with something? - I wanted to be polite.
Silence - again. Then she kindly grabbed my arm and we started walking...
