Carnations - A Oneus Fanfiction

Chapter 1

"So.. Is there anything Mr. Shin?" Mira gently set the flowers on the table, her eyes met with the manager.

"Here.." He held out a folder, Mira gladly took the folder and she smiled.

"There's an offer, if you're interested with it.. Come meet me here tomorrow and we'll see the director."

Mira nodded and stared at the folder with excitement. Her gripped tightened, she couldn't wait to feel the environment at the set again.

"Thank you!" Mira ducked her head, showing gratitude at the man infront of her.

Her manager laughed heartily and shook his head, proceed to leave Mira alone to finish his affairs at his office. Mira placed her offer beside the bouquet of carnations, she turned her head at television inside the coffee shop.

It was showing her scenes in the 'Plastic Flower' drama. Blood rushing to her cheeks watching as her scene progressed, she felt tingling under her skin, an odd sensation in her.

She looked up her phone and saw the hate comments slowed down, the moment flew passed over everybody's head quicker than she expected. To her, tides of self dissapointment started to rise and her heart started to speed up. She gently pat her chest and rubbed her temple to sooth herself.

"Why did I made such mistake?" She whispered to herself.

"If only I looked infront when I was walking, then maybe they won't be dissapointed with my mistake.."

"I have to be perfect.. For the viewers" She clenched her fist.

She stood up and grabbed her items, exiting the coffee shop. She quickly entered her car, driving to her apartment.

"I'm home.." She opened the door just to be greeted with pure silence, she lives alone. Nobody to expect at home after work, just time for herself.

She went to the balcony and from afar, she saw a billboard with the face of her fellow acting senior on it, promoting a cosmetic brand. Min Yunha, her senior and idol.

Mira stood at the set nervously, her manager went with the other managers. she couldn't believe she got the role as the bestfriend of protagonist. This was already such an honour as this was her 1st role, to be so close with the main characters. And to think the main protagonists are-

Mira jolted after her shoulder being tapped and quickly looked behind her, she covered her mouth, muffling her from screaming.

"Hey, you're the new actor at the company right? Can't believe we're working together!" This was her, Min Yunha was standing infront of her eyes. The protagonist of the story.

"S-senior?!" Mira exclaimed.

"Gosh.. You made me feel old. I'm only 28" Yunha laughed while scratching her nape. "May I ask, what's your name?"

"Yun Mira!" She bowed.

Yunha held Mira's shoulders with a broad smile, "Mira! So glad to be working with you!"

"N-no senior! This is an honour and.. And.. Please guide me!" She tumbled over her words, the shining presence of Yunha was too much for her.

"It's natural to be nervous for the first time and I'm happy to help you!"

Mira was stunned, she couldn't express her gratitude without stuttering, which resulting Yunha to laugh at her adorable attitude.

Mira aspire to be Min Yunha. Perfect and loved by everybody.

On the evening, Mira walked down the streets and saw a family of three walking hand in hand, the child in the middle between the parents. Mira bitterly smiled at the scenery infront of her.
