seven. muggles are confusing

   THE SNOW LOOKED BEAUTIFUL INSIDE and outside the castle but preferably staying inside was better. Lavinia tugged on her green and silver scarf that kept her warm as she made her way back to the slytherin dormatory she had done her reading that day and just wanted to return back to the warm but cold compared to other houses as the others weren't in the dungeon under the black lake. No wonder most are evil if I was a slytherin I would be evil to if my house was considered cold when everyone elses were literally above the water.

   " Bloody gryffindor," she whispered in embarrassment it was generally a rude password and she had asked to change it. The walls opened up for her once she had gotten in the walls closed back up like it was never opened. " Everyone look the giant squid!" One of the older students yelled standing in the room where the ceiling was glass seeing through the Black Lake.

   The perks on being a slytherin is that by the time your in seventh year you know how to speak sign language ( hey this is an a/n cuz there's a headcanon where slytherins know how to speak sign language theres a headcanon at the end ) since the merpeople of the lake didn't really like the glass when it was built.

   " Come here you little twerp," Picked up by none other than her older sister to her dorm room which was differently design than hers. " Nice room." She complemented after being thrown on her bed. " Have you packed?"

   The petite eleven year-old nodded her head rapidly stopping before she got a migraine from it. " We're leaving in a couple of days alright." Lorilie picked the girl back up confusing her but perfect excuse to have someone carry you around like a queen. " Oi Winchester is it safe to carry a kid like that?" The captain of the quidditch team someone that even Lavinia didn't like had to just say something.

   Lorilie kept quiet but Lavinia did not agree to that. " And is it safe for you to be captain?" The boys snickered. " Shut it br- Call my sister a brat and you'll be meeting my wand and fist." Lorilie cut Marcus off  putting her sister down. " Flint go take your little gayfest somewhere else." To anyone in the house knew better than to even argue with any girls of their house. " We're not ga- And I'm not blonde!"

   Picking up her little sister and heading to the room where everyone else was at while Marcus Flint sat there in annoyance with his gang

   " SUPRISED HOW ONE CANNOT SPELL A SIMPLE word," Eric smirked as he, Lavinia, Penny and Fiona sat at one of the arched doorways as Penny tried to teach Lavinia about muggle things that she definitely wouldn't care about if she hadn't met her. " Simple how one doesn't know how to shut up." Lavinia glared at him trying to spell a muggle word that Penny had shown her.

   After a couple more tries frustration has started to hit. " I give up I hate muggle words why is an animal spelled like that!" Dead silence from the other three before laughter. " Its not an animal its an animatronic." Tilting her head to the right anyone could see the confusion on her face. " I am confusion."

   " Animatronics are practically animals but robots,"

   " So animal robots that kill."

   " No- Well yes its slightly iffy to explain."

    " meaning?"

    " There was news about a restaurant that had animatronics that killed five kids," Penny answered the three looked at eachother than back at her. " Why can't muggles be normal like us?" Fiona sighed she was trying to get the information to fit into the puzzle but it just made her even more confused.

   " I won't survive in muggle school."

   Penny smiled at her three friends it felt like home. " Its freezing out here I heard the kitchen elves were making hot chocolate." Fiona actually knew the elves were making hot chocolate as she had grown close to them over the months they've been at hogwarts along side with the other three but she was just closer. " Hot chocolate is better than stupid muggle words." Lavinia got up and ran first followed along with Eric then Penny and last Fiona.

   Lavinia smiled at the house elves as she got there sitting on the floor not wanting to push the elves who were sitting on the chair. " Ms Winchester- You can call Lavinia I don't really like formalities." The house elves nodded as the other three started to pop in sitting next to her. " Here you go you three." One by one the three got hot chocolate with something different on it.

   Lavinia got marshmellows on hers, Eric had Sprinkles on his, Penny had bon bons on hers and Fiona had mint in hers. " What are you four doing here?" Their transfiguration teacher amazingly walked into the kitchen. " Professor McGonagall!" three of them got up while Lavinia didn't as she didn't want to spill her hot chocolate. " Get up!" Louis pulled her up.

   " Explain."

   " We were craving hot chocolate," Fiona grinned trying to pass the old professor who just raised her left eyebrow. " Wiliker I expected better from you someone who knows the rules." Yes he knew the rules but he didn't remember all of it like what everyone thinks of him. " I know the rules I'm not Granger who memorises everything."

   Lavinia continued to sip her hot chocolate knowing they didn't break any rule. " Ms Winchester may you explain?" Looking at the girl who leaned against a table to drink. " We didn't break any rule professor we're not skipping class and we're not out pass our bedtime I should know I've read it to many times." Smirking slightly looking right in her teacher's eyes.

   " You are just like your older sister," Professor had the amazing chance to meet almost all of the Winchester family during her school days and now her teaching days. " I take that as a compliment."

   Professor McGonagall looked at the four such an odd group she shut her eyes and turned. " When I come back you four better not be in here." Leaving the kitchen the three turned to her looking at her suprised. " What?"

   " Lavinia no one gets away from professor McGonagall," Fiona hit her on her shoulder knowing too well that she's got detention from professor just by sneaking around pass bedtime. " What can I say I'm amazing."

   Placing her mug down as she finished the hot chocolate waving goodbye to the elves and leaving her friends behind who had to finish their hot chocolate before leaving to not make more suspicion on them.
