"Chase, honey, we're almost there," his mother whispered to her barely awake son. Chase had hardly gotten any sleep the night before as he was nervous and excited to move to his new hometown of Opal. It was hard leaving his friends back in Springfield, but Mom & Dad had managed to find new jobs that were better salaried and better suited for them to pay for his college education. Chase slowly stretched as he woke up—then suddenly awoken by a feeling that shot up his spine of a damp, soggy feeling coming from his bottom: his GoodNites underpants that had saved his car seat from becoming a drenched and smelly mess, which his mom intuitively insisted he wear despite his objections. To the dismay of Chase, it was apparent to her just by looking that he had another nap saved yet again by her thinking ahead.

"Don't worry buddy, we'll get settled in quickly so you can shower and get changed" she said in a supportive voice.

"Okay..." Chase had said in a defeated tone, almost signaling to his mom that his stupid bladder had gotten the best of him once again, and that his stupid pull-ups, nay, diapers, were the only things keeping him from looking like a total pants-drenched loser. It wasn't fair to Chase that his body hasn't caught up to the rest of his peers in the nighttime dryness department, but seeing how both mom and dad were nighttime wetters themselves till their early teens, he would at least have to wait two more years if genetics were to play any help in his bed soaking relief.

His gloomy mood soon shifted as the car came to a halt when they finally arrived at their new home. Chase had seen the pictures that his parents had shown him before they moved, but he never thought it was this big! He got out as quickly as he could as he rushed into the garage and opened the door.

"Whoa..." he had uttered as he looked at the kitchen, and the expansive living room that was connected to it. This must be twice the size of his old home! He quickly ran up the stairs to see a common area perfect for having friends over to play video games and watching movies, and sleeping over! Well, maybe not that last part, at least for now.

Still, Chase could visualize for the first time since he knew he was moving a life with friends, even if he didn't know anybody in town yet. Maybe this move will change things for the better, he thought.
