Time to get in the Halloween mood 👍

A loud booming knock was heard on the dark oak doors of the Phantomhive Manor. A tall man in black walked purposefully towards the door and swung open the heavy doors with ease. He looked down to see.

"Ah. Lady Elizabeth to what do we owe the pleasure."

"It's Halloween, and call me lizzy the titles make me feel old." The blonde said giggling.

"I assume you would like to me with your fiancé my lady." The raven haired male questioned.

"Oh yes please, and Azure as well." She sang.

"Of course follow me."

He lead her to the green drawing room and offered her tea as he was getting the young lord, however she declined.

CIEL'S POV

I heard my butlers footsteps against the hardwood floors as I was filling out my last few contracts for various sectors of the Funtom company. A loud knock echoed throughout my study and glanced upwards and granted him entry.

"What is it now Sebastian?" I asked annoyed.

"Lady Elizabeth has come to visit and requests you and your sister's presence." He answers clearly.

I wonder why she is coming this time, I hope it's not another ball she knows I can't dance.

"I'll head down go and get my sister." I ordered.

"Of course my lord." He replies bowing before walking off. I follow not to long after making sure to finish my paragraph .

As I walk down the house is silent almost void of life, it used to be so lively but all that is gone now. I reach the drawing room opening the door only to be blinded with pink bows and glitter. I cough so she knows I have arrived.

"Lady Elizabeth." I say monotonously.

"Ciel!" She screams, how am I not deaf yet? She runs up and crushes me in a hug spinning me around. This goes on for a bit before we hear the door open.

"Hello Brother, Lizzy" she says in a similar manner to I. She is dressed in a simple red gown and shawl as it is getting colder.

"Azure!" Lizzy screamed before going on about on a rant about girly nonsense, my poor sister looks bored after just a second so I decide to end it now.

"Lizzy, to what do we owe the pleasure this crisp evening?" I ask glancing out at the falling leaves out side the window and the full moon glowing brightly in the dark, navy sky.

"Oh yes I almost forgot, I thought that we should host a costume ball tonight, sorry for the short notice." She grins, probably fantasizing over the ball she wants. Not another one. I glance at Azure but she just shrugs not knowing how to help. I might as well it could look good for my image.

"Fine, but nothing to extravagant." I agree begrudgingly.

"Yay! Come on Azure we need to get you all dressed up." She squeals dragging my poor sister up the stairs to her guest room.

"Sebastian."

"Yes my lord."

"Send out invites to who ever you can." I order him and he bows before disappearing into thin air. I sigh and head up to my room to get ready in the most minimal costume I have.

AZURE'S POV

Lizzy dragged me up the stairs to her room started shoving any costumes she could find. I stood there bored out of my mind, I could be studying right now. Even though I will probably be married off, I still want to have some form of education other than "womanly" lessons like flower arranging, embroidery and dancing. I want to learn a bit about the world, the law and things considered improper for women, especially ones of my class. Lizzy breaks my thoughts by holding up a vampiress costume, with a large collar and black lace gloves. It's beautiful.

"What about this one?" she exclaimed.

"I looks beautiful Lizzy." I say smiling fakely, she doesn't notice and instead pushes me into the bathroom to change. Once it is on I feel beautiful for the first time in a while. It fits perfectly and exenchuates my figure amazingly. I walk out adjusting my gloves and Lizzy is in awe, her jaw drops but quickly turns into a toothy grin.

"You look amazing Azure."

~time skip to the ball~

NO ONES POV

The ballroom was filled to the brim with nobility young and old dressed up in fancy dress.

Ciel was greeting the guests and put on a happy face hoping to please and gain clients. All that was missing was the hostess who was surprisingly nervous to make her appearance, but she knew the longer she waited the more awkward it would be. So she but up her courage and walked semi-proudly to the ball. The giggling and mingling was getting louder and she has never been happier to be wearing gloves. This was it no one had noticed her yet but they would soon if she just stood there, so she elegantly made her way down the grand staircase to meet with her brother and maybe get a drink. Her throat was suddenly dry and her lips stuck together.

For an hour at least she stood by the drinks table sipping at her drink trying to avoid human contact. Until her silence was noticed by a certain blonde vampire and he strutted towards her.

"Would you honour me with a dance my lady?" He asked offering out his hand.

"That would be lovely." She smiled fakely, taking his hand.

They danced and danced until even Lizzy would have grown tired. Tonight Azure actually enjoyed the company of someone who wasn't in her household, something she hadn't done in a while.
