"Mirio!!"
"Oh hey Eri-Chan!" Mirio said, with his signature smile. He gave Eri a high five and bent down to match her height. "What's up? Are you by yourself?"
Eri shook her head, and pointed towards the entrance of the UA building, where Shouta Aizawa stood, watching them from a distance. Eri waved to him and Aizawa, shocked, hesitated... then waved back.
"Deku said that we're gonna make candy apples today because you're both free!" Eri grinned, her eyes twinkling, as Mirio chuckled. Candy apples were her most favorite snack, and ever since she ate some at the festival, Eri had wanted to make her own.
"Remember, if you eat too much, you're gonna get a stomachache, but as long as I'm the one supervising you, you can eat as many as you want!" Mirio added, seeing the look on the face of his little friend, to which she started cheering. Mirio laughed heartily and took out his phone.
"Hey, it's Tamaki and Nejire!" Eri exclaimed, peeking at Mirio's home screen. Tamaki Amajiki and Nejire Hado were Mirio's best friends, and together, they were the big three of UA high school. "Look! Tamaki looks constipated, hahaha!" She giggled. "Nejire looks so pretty," she looked admiringly at the wallpaper. "Her eyes look like the sky..."
"They do, don't they?" Mirio agreed, but then pulled up a picture of Eri, Deku, and Kota. "You have eyes the color of apples! Deku's eyes look like the color of clovers, and Kota's eyes look like those pretty stones you saw at the lake!"
"Those rocks were really cool," Eri said. "But they were shaped a bit weird, sort of like Tokoyami's dark shadow."
They kept discussing about everyone's eye colors for a long time, but kept arguing about All Might.
"His eyes are basically BLACK!" Mirio protested as Eri shook her head
"Those are just shadows! They may look black but his eyes are BLUE!" Eri stated stubbornly, crossing her arms with a pout.Mirio couldn't take it anymore, and broke down laughing at this cute, sassy side of Eri. Eri, who was slightly confused, broke into a grin and started to giggle.
"Hey guys, sorry I'm late!"
Izuku Midoriya sprinted towards them, holding a bag full of supplies. He put them down as Eri threw herself at him.
