The Flower Crown

Today was quite a stressful day for (Name). After finally completing her commission quests from the Adventurers' Guild, who knew that she would face two Ruins guards at two of the mission locations. And so here she was, sitting at the edge of Starsnatch Cliff, weaving something in between her hands while letting out a tune of soft hums. A flower crown, that is what she was making, and of course for a special person. While Painmon was floating off in the distance, chasing after the butterflies that would appear nearby.

But unknown to her, footsteps lightly was heard behind her. "What are you doing," a whisper was heard right beside her ear, nearly shocking her as she almost drop what she was weaving. Turning around, she sees Venti, the wandering bard who is also known as Barbatos; the Anemo God. Also the one who she has a crush on.

"Venti, you scared me. I'm making a flower crown, something I always do when I... was with my brother." She shows him the half finished flower crown before returning back to finishing it. Venti hums as he sat next to her, playing with his wooden lyre. "I love the feeling of the gentle breeze here. Close your eyes and turn your face into the wind. Feel it sweep along your skin. And suddenly, you know you are alive," Venti says as he closed his eyes.

Feeling the breeze that gently blew by, a moment of silence that fell between them as (Name) finished her flower crown. "Say Venti," (Name) begins to say, making the bard look at her with slight interest, "Close your eyes. I want to give you something."

His eyes shine with a slight mischief, "Hmm~? Are we playing a game?"

"Yes, just close your eyes and if you open them then you lose." With that being said, Venti closed his eyes. (Name) gently pulls off his beret hat with the Cecilia flower and placed her flower crown on his head. "There, you can open them now." As his eyes open, the first thing he sees is how close (Name) was to him. Then he notices his beret hat in her hands. He slowly reaches to his head, feeling something. Venti takes it off his head and see a neatly well-done flower crown.

"It's a gift. I wanted to... make you something," (Name) begins to say while looking away with a slight blush on her cheeks. A gift, something he haven't received in a long time. "Thank you, (Name). But something is missing." (Name) turns to look at the bard as he reaches for his hat. Venti takes the Cecilia flower from his hat and placed it beside the flower crown. "There, now it's complete."

Venti then places the flower crown back on his head, which caused (Name) to giggle. He questions her to why she was laughing. "Haha.. Sorry it's just, you look cute with the flower crown on your head. It matches you better," (Name) says with a smile. Venti hums as he just thought of something. His eyes shine with a slight mischief, "Say (Name)~ let's play a game."

"A game," (Name) questions the bard as he nod. Venti explains the simple rule of the game, "This time you close your eyes. If you open them, you lose~!" In a couple seconds (Name) closed her eyes, in hope that she doesn't look stupid in front of the bard. She could feel his hand moving her bangs behind her ear, placing something behind her ear. Not even a couple seconds pass until she felt pressure of her being pulling forward and a warmth of soft lips that pressed against hers, arms wrap around her into an embrace. (Name) press her hand behind Venti's neck, closing any distance between them. With her eyes still closed, she melted into his embrace and sweet kiss.

It wasn't until Venti pulled away from the sweet kiss, a small smirk on his face. (Name) blushing at the unexpected kiss. Looking at Venti, she notices that where the Cecilia flower once was is now missing. Touching her ear, did she felt something, the Cecilia flower. "Although it's my favorite flower. It looks better on you," Venti whispers as he pulled her back into a hug.
