I've been going to the OB every two weeks, she wants to keep a close eye since i'm considered high risk. I'm now fourteen weeks, and in my second trimester. I'm going in for my appointment, just to make sure everything is still fine and then i'm going to tell Tadley that i'm pregnant tonight if everything goes well. Luckily i've just gotten a tiny bit bigger, but it could easily be passed off as bloating.

I've decided to go the lazy route today, i'm wearing a simple lounge sweats, and a zip up hoodie. I slipped on my flip flops, and then grabbed my things and drove to the gynecologist office. I went in and signed in and then waited in the waiting room.

I was called back, weighed, vitals taken, the usual then taken to the room. I climbed up on the table and lifted my top so my stomach was exposed for when Dr. Michaels came in. When she finally came in she had a huge grin on her face and i couldn't help but grin too. I was finally excited about this baby.

"Congratulations!! You made it to the second trimester." Dr. Michaels exclaimed happily.

"I know i'm so excited! If everything goes well today i'm telling Tadley tonight. I hate having to keep it from him." I sighed.

"Well, you ready to see the little one? We're going to do this one 3D. You'll be able to see the details of the baby much better this way." She smiled.

"Yess!" I cheered. She flipped the monitor on and then squirted the cold gel on my belly and moved it around with the wand. My baby came up on the screen and my breath was literally taken away. It looks like an actual baby now, and it's beautiful!

"Look at the little hands!" I coo'd. Tears started streaming down my face in happiness. It's happening! I'm carrying the baby to term. I'm so happy, my heart feels so full right now. She froze the screen and printed off a picture and i couldn't take my eyes off of the screen. She played the heartbeat for me and it sounded strong and healthy.

"Everything looks perfect! The heartbeat is strong, the baby is growing exactly how it should be. I'd say you're in the clear! I still wanna keep up the two week appointments though just to be safe." Dr. Michaels assured me.

"I would greatly appreciate that, it's giving me a sense of peace knowing that things are good and we are keeping a close eye on things." I insisted.

"Alright, let's go get that appointment set up, and then you go tell that husband of yours the good news! I see that little belly starting to poke out, can't keep it a secret much longer!" She winked at me.

"Thank you so much! For everything, you don't know how much it means to me that you're doing everything you can to make sure my baby is okay." I smiled warmly at her and tried to keep the tears out of my eyes. She's gone above and beyond to make sure i was comfortable with how everything has gone.

"No need to thank me, sweetie. It's my job, and i love doing it, it's brought me so much joy seeing you along this journey." She handed me a paper towel to wipe the gel off of my stomach and handed me the picture and then we walked out and set up the appointment and i left.

I went to the store to get some things to announce it to everyone, then went home to put it all together. While i was doing that i called Tadley to see if he was going to be late from work tonight. He answered on the first couple rings.

"Hey, baby. Everything okay?" He questioned worriedly.

"Yeah, i was just calling to see when you were going to be home from work or if you were going to be late or anything?" I asked.
