If you had to ask Lynn, she would not consider being tied to a tree in the middle of the night an ideal 'fun time'. Katara was struggling next to her, anger and hatred burning in her eyes. Lynn's eyes were kinder and she almost looked amused in the moonlight.
"I see you made it, that's good." The adoration that seemed to shine in her blue eyes made the prince falter, even if only for a moment as she greeted him like he was an old friend.
Zuko's face flushed involuntarily. "I'm fine," he snapped before taking a breath and continuing with a calmer tone. "I need you two to restore something very important to me: my honor."
Lynn eyed him cautiously. She understood where he was coming from. She, too knew what it was like to loose your family, and your home. And that's exactly why she was insistant on not loosing her one remaining family member: Aang.
"You can take me, but if you do much as look in his direction, you'll face my full wrath."
Katara's jaw dropped. "Lynn what are you... you can't!"
"Limited time offer. I'll give you a couple of minutes to consider. One, or none."
Her eyes bore into his back as he turned away, considering her offer. They weren't warm and friendly as they had been only moments before. Now they were cold and calculating, her blue eyes almost looking charcoal grey in the moonlight.
Zuko turned around and his amber eyes narrowed slightly. "What's to ensure that you won't try to escape?"
Lynn pursed her lips. "Nothing, I suppose, if I truly wanted to. I could promise, but that seems rather childish, doesn't it? I guess you'll just have to trust me. What's to ensure that you won't go after Aang after I hand myself in?"
"I guess you'll just have to trust me," Zuko echoes sarcastically. His voice was raised slightly , but that was mostly to match Katara's protesting.
"I guess that settles it then." Lynn didn't even blink as ice encased the chain tying her to the tree. One simple tug and they shattered. Zuko took a step back apprehensively and she let out a tsk sound. "Where did all your trust go?" The Prince scowled as he forced himself to relax.
The dark haired girl turned to Katara, who was sobbing now. Her gaze softened again as she reached forwards to stroke the girl's cheek. "I'll be fine. You've got to keep Aang and Sokka on task, alright. They're smart, but we both know they're terrible at focusing."
Sighing, she turned to follow Zuko, who gestured to have her walk in front. She paused for a moment by the pirates. "Oh and boys? Thanks for the necklace."
