-KAEDES POV-
That night, the thief didn't come to visit me again....What a shame. I wish I could see those beautiful, lavender eyes again. I laid in my bed most of the night, just staring at the roof. What is the point of my life? Just to live to be a princess and then die? What about exploration? Piano? I miss the days my father used to push me on the swings, and braid my hair. I miss everything. Now, everyone is worried about me being suited for the role of a queen. But... I'm not worried about that. Oh thief, will you come back to me already? I brush my long golden hair, tying it with a blue ribbon. My mom told me I must look more presentable today, for the suitors. My maid, Kirumi, did my makeup, so I look different than from before. Better I suppose. When I put on my gown, I actually look pretty for once. For course, it's not my true form, but I kinda like it. I hope someone will too.

"Kaedeee, you're forgetting the most important thing!" Shuichi says, grabbing my gold crown. I smile, and he places it on my head. Then, I finally look back into the mirror.

Pretty.

"Do you think I will meet anyone?" I ask Shuichi, twirling my hair.

"I'm not sure.." He replies, looking down. I sigh and hug him. I feel him wrap his arms around me as well... keeping me warm. This is nice, To have a friend.

-SHUICHI'S POV-
When will Kaede recognize my true feelings for her? I want to tell her... but in too scared! I've always had such a huge crush on her... but there's no way she would ever like me back. I guess, her random bursts of affection is nice, her hugs are warm and cozy. I'm secretly hoping she doesn't meet anyone tonight, since I want her to be mine. But, if it makes her happy, I suppose it's what's best....

That's all I want.

-KAEDES POV-
The ceremony lasted foreverrrrr. All of the suitors were either rude or perverted. Most of them were quiet disrespectful too! I wish there were some girls there too. Of course, my family is against that kind of stuff. I hated it so much, I couldn't wait until it was over!

"Mother, when does this thing end?" I ask her.

"When you find someone" She replies. It's almost midnight! Who am I supposed to find this late at night?! Right when I thought all hope was lost..... someone else entered. Him.

-KOKICHI'S POV-
When I told my dice members about my plan, they thought it was spectacular.

"Intelligent as always boss!" One of them said. I love dice, they are my family. But anyways, when I entered the castle, I could tell the princesse's heart stopped. I mean, how could it not? Look at me! I'm as handsome as ever! I smile at the princess as soon as I make eye contact with her. One of my members taught me how to flirt or impress a girl, so I got this in the bag. Once I get closer to them, I bow before them. 

"Good day, You're Majesty.." I say, looking up at the queen. I had to impress her before I could impress her daughter. The queen already looks very satisfied at my manners, great.

"Good day young man! And who might you be?" She asks me.

"I am Kokichi Ouma. Prince of the D.I.C.E kingdom." I reply, giving a smile. Of course, Dice isn't a kingdom, but I honestly don't care! It's not like the queen would care either!

"Wonderful! And are you here for my daughter?" She asks.

"Yes, Ma'am. If it is okay, I would like to register for her hand in marriage." I reply. I know what you're thinking, Woah kokichi! You just met! But, I'm not actually gonna marry her you silly goose! Im going to get close to her, steal the necklace, and then disappear!

"You have my permission." She replies, looking at the princess. Kaede smiles when she meets my eyes, standing up from her hair.

"It's lovely to meet you, Prince Kokichi." She says, putting her hand out. I kiss it, and look back up at her.

"My pleasure, Princess."
