The klutzy-cutie, known as this story's main character, headed down to the local coffee shop. She needed her daily fix, black coffee and cinnamon with ice. She walked over to the counter and stood face to face with her beautiful crush or as we know her, the soulmate. The klutzy girl knew her from an art class in the college she attended.

The brown haired barista looked into the eyes of the girl across the counter and gave a bright smile.

"Ah, I see you're back again, cutie." The barista winked at the now red girl.

She was stuttering to find a response. "I- um, yes."

"What would you like to order?"

"The thing..." she started to fade out before coming back strong, "an iced black coffee with cinnamon?"

"Alrighty, anything else with that?" She smiled brighter at the girls order.

In a low whisper the Klutz mumbled a short response, "a date?"

"What was that?"

"Ah! Nothing!"

" Okay, your total is $3.25."

The main girl in the story pulled out her wallet and fumbled around to find the exact change and a tip.

"Your order will be ready in a moment. You can sit at the tables and wait if that's convenient."

She walked over to a table near a window. The rain started to pour outside. The rain was always so soothing for the red head. How the droplets hit the roof and make a pitter patter sound.

The coffee was finally made so the brunette took it over to the red head. Just as she got to the table and stated that her order was ready the other girl stood up and headed to the bathroom. Unfortunately, the two girls were close enough that they bumped into each other. The coffee had spilt all over our clothes and the floor.

"I'm so sorry!" The working girl said.

"No, this was my fault. I'm really clumsy and I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings." She was now flustered.

"Is there anything I can do to make up for this?" The clearly worried girl handed her some napkins from a table nearby.

"Well," she looked at the other and glanced away before continuing. "We could go out maybe? Like a date."

"Well..." the girl paused and thought about it. "The only day I'm free is this Friday from 2pm- 3pm."

"I get out of class at 1:30pm so I could pick you up on Friday. Could I get your contact information?"

"Yes, of course. My number is (xxx)-xxx-xxxx and my name is Amelia. You know, just in case you didn't know my name." She smirked before turning to go to work again.

"My name is Bennie. I'll see you Friday!"

Bennie glanced over at Amelia, waved and left. Both Amelia and Bennie were looking forward to the date they had planned. There would be many more dates to come. After all they are soulmates that just connected for the first time.

After that fateful day they started dating. A year had passed and they lived together with a cat named Stevie and another named TV. Bennie was out of college and had a full time job while her love still worked as a part timer at the Starbucks where they had first spoken.
