-Cassidy-

I stood in front of a large crowd of people. I didn't know what I was doing and I sure as hell didn't know why I was there. I looked down at my hands and saw a microphone. Everyone was cheering and in the distance I saw Rylee, my best friend, also joining the crowd. I took a deep breath and began singing a cover by Lana Del Ray. Young and Beautiful.

I finished the song. People chanted my name. "Cassidy, Cassidy, Cassidy." Over and over again. Each chant getting louder and louder.

I felt my eyes flutter my eyes open to find myself in my bedroom. I stared up at my brother and I's, best friend Shawn. And just if your wondering. Yes, Shawn as in Mendes. I groaned and pulled the pillow over my ears, shuting my eyes. "Cassidy come on." Shawn whined, weakly tugging at my duvet. I peeked at my alarm clock. 12:00 a.m. This boy....

"Shawn. It's noon..and summer. What could you possibly want?" I tiredly yawn.

"I have an announcment to make." I felt the edge of my bed dip, indicating that Shawn was sitting down on my duvet.

"And this couldn't have waited until I got up?" I mumbled.

"We both know, that would never happen." Shawn chuckled.

"How'd you even get in?" I mumbled, still deep into my duvet.

"You gave me a key remember?" He dangled the key in front of my face. Why'd I give him a key.

I sighed and bolted upright, sitting cross legged on my bed. "What's the announcement?"

Shawn scratched the back of his head. "It's more or less a present. It's downstairs." Shawn stood up from my bed. "I'll meet you in 10. You don't need to get dressed in like day clothes or whatever. Just don't come downstair's looking like...." He made a hand gesture towards my face. "That." I snorted and threw a pillow at him. He threw it back and dissapeared into the hallway.

I got up from my bed and stretched. I walked to my bathroom. I put my long dark brown hair into a high pony tail, and I slipped into some jeans and a black and red mickey mouse sweatshirt. My house is freezing in the summer. My parents like too keep the temperature at Antarctica level.

I brushed my teeth and walked out of my door way. I turned a corner and walked downstairs.
"No..." I gasped as I stopped at the last step of the stairs.

Ten guys....from ten different vine channels. Ten of the most important people in my life. Well aside from one. He doesn't count.

They all stood up. "CASSIDY!" They screamed, running up to hug me.

I was engulfed in a huge group hug. "We missed you!" Matt says.

I laughed. "I missed you guys too! And speaking of missing. I'm about to loose my breath if you don't let go." I mumbled, fakely coughing.

To explain more, Shawn was staying with my dad, brother, mom and I. And the rest of the boys were staying at Nash's. (Just so no ones confused)

I smiled and was about to say something when Jack G mouthed 'Can I talk to you' and nodded his head to the kitchen. I nodded.

"One minute you guys." My eyes made contact with a pair of icy blue ones. "Wicked Witch of the North." I mumble, walking past him.

"Ice Lady of the valley. Oh by the way, the mayor of VirginTown called, they wanna know when you'll be back." Nash sneered.

I snorted. "VirginTown really? At last I'm not the president of Man-whoreville" Nash turned around and scoffed.

"You did not just go there." Nash did one of those breathing laughs.

"Oh I went there."

Just as Nash was about to respond, Cameron cut in the middle of our argument. "You two, chill out. We haven't even been here an hour and you two already want too push each other of the eiffel tower."

"Ohh..can I go first" i raised my hand. "It's a long way down." I smirk.

"Cassidy." I looked at Jack G, who was in the kitchen. I glanced at Nash again. We both snorted, and turned our backs to each other, walking sepreate ways. I walked into the kitchen, closing the sliding glass doors.

"God, I hate that guy." I mumbled. I looked up at Jack, who had his eyebrows raised, his head was turned a bit, and he had a smirk on his face. "Shut it." I growl.

He placed both hands in the air and put them back on the counter. "So..um.. how've you been?"

"Great, actually. Well aside from
Nash, tie dye loving freak. How's MagCon so far?" I asked, leaning against the counter.

"It's been fun!" He replied.

I know what he wants to ask. He's just too afraid to. "Rylee's doing fine too." I smirked.

His cheeks turned a light shade of pink. "How'd you know?"

"I'm an empath. I can just feel it." I reply. "You're not over her." He started blushing uncontrollably.

"What of course I am." He turned his head and scratched the back of his head. "It would be stupid if I wasn't."

"You know you're a horrible liar?" I joked.

He looked back at me and smiled. "How noticeable is it?"

"Let's just say, I'm surprised Jack hasn't found out."

"No one can know about this. You weren't even supposed to know." Jack lowered his voice.

I sighed. "Well I do. Jack. You need to ask her out, this has been going on for a year. Sure she's not the person to lose intrest, but shes also not the person to keep waiting." I lean against the counter.

Jack sighed. "I can't Cassidy. I can't ask her out. Hell, I can barely talk to her. Whenever I'm around her, I'm clumsy as hell, I stutter like a maniac, and I can't even look in her eyes without getting lost in them." Jack ran his hands through his hair, frusterated.

"All that's true. I mean the only thing you haven't done yet is..." I looked at Jack's expression. I sighed. "Write a song for her." I finish slowly. "Dear lord Jack. I can't help with this. Your the one that likes her that way not me. You need to face your fear." I calmly say.

He stayed silent for a minute. "What about your fear?"
