A/N: I'm writing this as if there's only one commentator because I feel like speaker tags take away from it too much, so pick your favorite of Matt and Akbar, I guess?
9/10 Knockout Round: Bradi Brownfield versus Makena Cook
"Makena won her first race, but I think she's the underdog here."
"Yeah, Bradi was seven seconds faster."
"Oh, Bradi's a little caught up in the cargo net, and now Makena's caught up. Who wants it more?"
"Bradi's known as the Bunny Whisperer. She's got to hop like a rabbit if she wants to get ahead of Makena."
"And Bradi first off! Just like her first race, she pulls ahead on Block Run!"
"Oh, a little stumble from Makena. And Bradi's not looking back, right onto Flying Squirrel."
"Makena's got to make up some ground, but Bradi's even faster than her first race. She's first to the dismount, and she's going to be first to the buzzer!"
9/10 Final Showdown: Adil Mbondo vs. Bradi Brownfield
"We have a rematch for the nine- and ten-year-olds. It's going to be either Bradi Brownfield from Parker, Colorado, or Adil Mbondo from Lewis Center, Ohio. The last time these two faced each other, a couple of stumbles by Bradi let Adil sneak past her at the last second. But Bradi was ten seconds faster in the knockout round, and you know she's hungry for redemption."
"And a good start by Bradi, off to an early lead. Oh, Ninja Ali caught up in the cargo net! Now Adil's got to catch up. But Bradi is looking comfortable, right through the Spider Walls. And Bradi the first onto the Flying Squirrel! Makes that first transition, but she's struggling to build up momentum. Adil's got to make up some ground. Bradi first off, Adil with the one-touch dismount! It's going to come down to who can get up the Warped Wall! Adil is looking tired, and Bradi finds another gear!"
