Percy crept along in the shadows of the girls dorms. He could hear people shouting as they played night volleyball in the dormitory quad. Annabeth wouldn't be out there, she would probably be nestled in her room with a book about Roman architecture--she just HAD to learn all she could about it.

As Percy sneaked along he recited the dorm number over and over.

202 b, 202 b, 202 b.

Gods, Annabeth was going to kill him for breaking the rules. Well, she'd have to suck it up, Percy was a man on a mission.

Finally, he rounded the corner of the dorm and watched the girls play volleyball, he waited until the ball wa in the air, and then signaled to Jason, who was resting in a tree nearby.

With a flick of his wrist, Jason made the wind carry the ball away, and the confused girls chased after it. The coast was clear, and Percy summoned a geyser of water from a seashell he had in his hand, and he was carried up to the top level of the dorm building. He had planned his position just right, and he could see into Annabeth's room. Just as he thought, Annabeth was snuggled in her beanbag chair, reading a book about the history of New Rome. Percy knocked on the window, and Annabeth started. Percy knocked again, and this time Annabeth noticed. She turned towards Percy with an amused expression, and he smirked.

"Hey," he said. Annabeth motioned to the window, and Percy realized it was still closed and she couldn't hear him. He opened it, "Hey."

"Percy, what in Hades are you doing here?"

"I'm here to give you a blast from the past." and Percy motioned to Jason once again, who was annoyed that this time he actually had to move his arms. With a grand gesture, Jason whisked Annabeth and Percy out of the window.

The couple was flown all the way down to the aquaduct of New Rome, and they settled near the top, where water was gushing out.

"Annabeth Chase, will you slide down this aqueduct with me at night on a metal saucer?" Percy asked, producing a metal sled from a corner of the wall.

"Uh, what?" asked the confused Annabeth.

And then Percy grabbed her and sat down on the sled, and they crashed into the water.

Percy yelled at the top of his lungs while Annabeth screamed and her eyes widened with fear. The water carried them over bumps and down gullies, like a waterslide. They could see the Field of Mars around them, and suddenly their vision went black.

The saucer swirled around for a couple seconds and then plunged the demigods over the side of the aquaduct. Annabeth's cry was cut off as she and Percy plummeted down to the water below. As they were falling, Percy threw Riptide out of his pocket so that when they passed the Pomerian line they wouldn't get caught by Terminus.

Once they hit the water below, Percy engulfed them in an air bubble, and they floated to the top. The clear water was foamy and cold, but the demigods were warm with exitement. They glided along the now calm, lazy water side by side and laughed while reminiscing in memories.

"I could really use a dam towel." Annabeth told Percy as she looked up at the Hunter constellation. Percy chuckled half-heartedly, remembering Zoe.

"Hey, remember when Festus was making me a blueberry smoothie, and I turned around to show you right as the ship rocked p and it spilled all over me?"

Annabeth giggled, "Your hair smelled like blueberries for a week, and I convinced you to buy some blueberry shampoo from the store because I loved it so much."

"Yeah," Percy said, "I started to think you had a blueberry fetish."

Annabeth tried to splash Percy, but he deflected the water and made it dump on his girlfriend. "Hey," she pouted, "It's no fair. You're still dry and i'm soaking wet."

Percy cut off her whining with a kiss. Annabeth saw her chance, and she splashed Percy again. He was distracted and-sucess!!

Even if only for a few seconds, Annabeth had managed to actually get Percy wet.

"Hey," he mocked Annabeth, "That's no fair."

"Well i'm sorry for dampening your mood, Seaweed Brain."

Percy rolled his eyes.

"Aw, come here."Annabeth said and she kissed Percy again. "I love you, even when your brain is full of kelp and your idea of a date is worse than when Brittany Spears shaved her head."

"Admit it," Percy said, "You totally enjoyed it. Just like you totally enjoyed it in 'The Thrill Ride of Love' when we were twelve."

"I did not enjoy that, Percy."
