Closer

Over the next week y/n and Karl got closer. Y/n felt like she finally fit in. They both wanted to see each other in real life. Though Karl hasn't meet another streamer outside of Mrbeast. He wanted to meet her. There was just something about her that drew her in.

                      ~~Karls pov~~

"Finally" I say after streaming for 24 hours with Jimmy.

Today had been a long one. We sign a lot of shirts. Hopefully the money will go to someone who needs it.

Like y/n. She told me about her situation before the stream and that she would be buying one of the shirts. I really hope she gets it. She deserves it after everything she's been through.

And hey! I'll finally get to see her. I bet shes beautiful. I thought to myself as I walked out to my car.

"Oh." I say to myself after I sent that message.

Hopefully I played that off well. Honestly though I wouldn't mind if we did date. Karl's super nice. Nicer than any guy I've dated.

Maybe that was him shooting his shot. Or just him trying ti make me flustered. Either way I would be able to see Karl in a week.

** time skip: the next week **

I woke up early to make my flight. I was going to North Carolina/ South Carolina (i forget which one it is) to dot he challenge for Mrbeasts channel. I haven't been told what we were doing yet so I was even more amped up.

My friend dropped me of at the airport and I walked in. I still haven't gotten breakfast so I was hungry and tiered.

I disided to get breakfast at Wendy's because I wanted to try it. I ordered and then sat down a scrolling through my phone as I get a text from Karl.

I start smiling.

Why am I smiling?

Karl
Hey ill be at the airport at gate 12 waiting. What time will you be here?

Ill be there at 9:00

Karl
Ok see you then

Then reality hit me like a bus.

When I win I don't think I'll even go home. What's the point? I'll be able to live on my own. I can get an apartment and then I can stream more often. Though I have a small following after this Mrbeast video I might have enough to live off of it. At the begining I'll probably have to work minimum wage until I can rely on streaming.

I got this

I think to myself as I start throwing away my trash and walking to my gate. Wendy's breakfast was a lot better than I was expecting. Then my gate got called and I walked on.

I had a window seat which I was excited for. Even though I would probably be sleeping the whole time I've never had a window seat.

An older lady sat next to me and offered me gum. I declined because I had picked up gum earlier and I don't trust strangers. I showed her my own pack and she nodded and turned back to whatever she was doing. I  popped the piece of gum in my mouth and watched out the window as we took off.
