A few months after...
She looked around the streets in a country road at someplace in England trying to figure out which house she now owned.
"Hey!" A family shouted at her and she turned around and smiled at them awkwardly as they walked towards her
"Nice to meet you, assuming you're our new neighbour" The woman said
"I guess so, I am Jessie" She smiled
"Nice to meet you Jessie, I am Selina, this is my husband Jackson and our two daughters Scarlett and Jasmine" Selina introduced themselves
"Such a lovely family" Jessie smiled
"How about I come help you when Jackson drops the kids to school and he goes to work" Selina suggested
"Uh yeah sure, my friend will be hopefully dropping it off soon" Jessie smiled
"Alright, I will see you in 10" Selina agreed and Jessie walked over to her new house and unlocked the door. She soon saw the few boxes she left there a few weeks ago and opened them up. She smiled as she saw some of her old stuff and was distracted by the knock on the door
"Coming!" Jessie yelled as she soon opened up her door and saw Selina smiling
"Please come inside, preferably as soon as possible as my things are arriving in a few seconds" Jessie laughed and Selina came into the doorway
"There is no sound of a moving truck" Selina stated as she got confused how it was arriving
"Oh right... yeah it is coming from the sky" Jessie said casually as she answered a call
"Hey Tony... yeah the drive is clear... alright thank you so much, I'm sure they won't... no I like the neighbourhood, the family next door are super nice... alright tell him I say hi and hope he is doing good... see you later" Jessie said and the call ended as a huge pod landed on the drive and the only iron man on top
"Jeez mr discreet" Jessie said
"Happy unpacking, I'll send you something later. I got to go" He said and then flew off.
"Your friend is Tony Stark?" Selina asked
"Sort of... I worked at SHIELD for a few months and I had to chaperone him" Jessie explained
"Awesome! Well did you stay while all of the Captian America stuff happened?" She asked
"No, I left just as he came back really" Jessie answered as she lifted a few things into the house.
A hour later the two were decorating the living room
"Woah, are these real?" Selina asked as she held Jessie's swords
"Shit, no! They just can accidentally get sharp in transport" Jessie answered as she took the swords and swung them around with their case on
"Are they licensed?" Selina asked
"Yeah, of course they are. I'm not a criminal" Jessie laughed
"Oh I didn't mean it like that" Selina laughed
"I'll go put these in my bedroom, I have a safe place I keep my old SHIELD items" Jessie explained and she put the swords in her wardrobe. She walked back out and saw Selina putting up a picture of Steve, Jessie, Bucky and Peggy on the fireplace.
"When was this taken?" Selina asked
"I... I don't know... I can't remember certain things" Jessie sighed
"It is okay... oh look a date, 1942... how is that possible, you look like you're only 20" Selina stated
"I'm 23" Jessie said and looked at the picture
"I was in cryo for years... look I can explain as much as I can to you" Jessie said
"Are you that Winter Soldiers sister? They thought you died" Selina said and Jessie was about to answer then Nat walked in
"Who are you?" Nat asked
"I am her neighbour... we can continue this conversation later... come round ours, we are having a pizza night" Selina offered and Jessie nodded
"You thought you could really hide out here from me?" Nat asked
"It isn't like that, I just need to stay away from whatever it is I was running from" Jessie said
"You mean your best friend since you first met him through your brother?" Nat questioned
"Yeah?" Jessie answered confused and she sat down
"I ran off after Wakanda... I can't remember why or what I was even doing there but I ran to find Tony who explained some parts and I wanted to find you but I couldn't seem to remember where you went or when you left, the last couple months are a blur to me because after I ran, I got hit by a truck and was okay but the driver wasn't... I used my powers on him and it shattered my arms and my memory faded away, Tony was the one who was close by and took me to the compound and healed my arms and started to fill in some blanks" Jessie explained
"What did he say about the fights?" Nat asked
"The team split up because of a law you, me, Rhodes, Tony and King T'Challa signed... he told me how Howard had died with his wife in a car crash and how they found my brother is definitely dead but Steve is here and left me to die" Jessie explained
"Well, he told you parts of a basic summary" Nat said
"Peggy passed away as well apparently... she left me a few of my old SSR things she kept hidden so I have those, I have my suit and swords and yeah" Jessie said
"I'm sorry" Nat said and hugged her friend
"You didn't tell anyone you found me, did you?" Jessie asked
"No, I said I was going to see a friend, didn't need to say which one" Natasha smirked
"Random question, did I ever mention having a boyfriend?" Jessie asked
"Nope, you never did mention your love life once, why?" Nat asked
" Just something random... well, I best continue unpacking soon, how about we see each other once every few months, that way no one can find out as it is random places and random times?" Jessie suggested
"Sounds good" Nat said and looked and saw a picture of her and Jessie from a party, the red head smiled before walking outside and getting on her bike and driving away again
