I was enjoying a good dream, not like some wacky random dream, but a dream based on fairy tales; many such as Snow White, Goldilocks and the three bears, Beauty and the Beast, and many more fairy tales from around the world.

The worst part about it? Probably the fact that I knew it wasn't real. I don't believe in stuff like 'love at first sight' and 'damsels in distress' it's all just a bunch of garbage.

But my dream was brought to a halt, my eyes opened to the sight of my alarm clock buzzing at 8:00AM like any other day. I groaned and smacked the clock to shut it up.

My feet moved like snails, taking forever to get me off my bed. In any normal case, I would've just stayed in bed, but I knew I had to finish my homework or else I was screwed, and I couldn't afford to fail my sophomore year.

With every ounce of strength I had, I threw myself at the closet. I opened it, examining what would be my clothes for the day. After a few minutes, I walk out with a satisfied look on my face.

I looked down to see my yellow short dress, with a leather jacket on top of it. But as soon as I looked at the mirror, I wasn't ecstatic to see my face and hair look like crap. I hurried myself to the bathroom and began fixing myself up; once I had finished, I saw my black wavy hair all cleaned up, as it hung down all the way to my waist.

I dove my face into the water, using it to clean my face; my face gets pulled back, revealing my clean fair skin and blue eyes. But I was still tired, dreading to spend the day in a boring library.

"All done."

I said with a tired expression as I made my way downstairs And straight to the kitchen, I saw my family eating breakfast; my little brother and father were at the table eating cereal, while my mother was making some coffee for herself. The sight of my family being all cheery started to lift my spirits, giving me some adrenaline to tackle on the day.

"Bye guys! I gotta hurry to the library and finish my homework!"

I yelled out as I slid my feet into my shoes with no effort. My family didn't mind much since the library isn't that far from their house; plus my parents know I'm old enough to go out on my own, they don't expect me to make any stupid decisions.

The door to the house opened as I leaped out and began walking to the library, a small smirk on my face. The library wouldn't be open until 9:00AM, so I had some time to enjoy the walk.

On the way, I notice a water tower with the words, "Grand Prairie", the city I was born in. I kept walking on the sidewalk, greeting people on the way with a bright smile on my face.

I saw stores already starting to open up from barbers, to restaurants, and even some cinemas. This seemed like a perfect blue day, too bad I was using it for homework.

I began to notice more people coming out from their homes. One of them was a boy wearing some shirt but with a very noticeable chocolate stain on it, or at least I hoped it was a chocolate stain.

"Nice stain kid, that really brings out the color of your eyes."

I say sarcastically as I pass the little kid, noticing him see the stain and starting to point at me. I couldn't help but grow a smile as I made my way to the Bakery.

The outside lights were turned on, lighting up the brown walls. The plants placed around the entrance slowly moved in the wind, leaves falling off creating a sort of pattern on the floor.

I walked in through the wooden door, and found that only four people were inside. Two workers and a few customers ordering at the till.

One of the workers smiled at me as he cleaned a table. I gave a small smirk and walked up behind the couple who were ordering. They didn't order much, just a small bag of mini donuts.
