Toothless jerked in complete shock at her words. It was like a sudden overwhelm of heat that swarmed in his chest. HE WAS GOING TO BE A DAD?

"A-A Dad?? Really? Your-- Your--"

"..Pregnant? Yes." Luna chuckled at his stuttering and licked his cheek gently then peered into his eyes, worry suddenly clouding her own. "...Are you, happy..?"

"Happy?! IM OVER THE MOON!! WE'RE GOING TO BE PARENTS!" He shrieked in joy and jumped around happily like a wild teenager, making Luna burst with laughter at how excited he seemed to be. It was everything she ever wanted, to be a parent and to see him so overjoyed to know they were expecting their children soon.

Once he had calmed down, he rushed back to ask her. "How long have you known?"

"A month or so." Luna replied and pressed their foreheads together, shutting her eyes. Finally Luna was at peace to finally get it off her chest, something she was constantly worried about was no longer something she had to fret.

"You should have told me.." Toothless purred quietly while his forehead was pressed lightly against hers, smiling wildly to himself still. "I'm so happy.."

"I'm happy too my love, I'm glad you took it so well... I was afraid you wasn't ready, because you have such a huge duty here, I-I was scared you wouldn't have time for them..." Luna whimpered softly, gazing up to him with soft blue eyes.

"I will make all the time in the world for you...For them..." Toothless promised and licked her cheek gently. "I promise, I'll have all the time in the world for you all..."

Smiling, Luna nuzzled his neck gently and sat against him with her eyes shut. "I'm glad... I want to make sure this is the best family ever.."

"Do you know how many?" Toothless asked while his head was pressed against her neck.

"No, not yet.." Luna replied and breathed out in relief, smiling faintly to herself. "Either way, I'll love them all no matter how many we have."

Toothless sat there with his tail curled around hers, smiling faintly to himself. He was extremely happy to know that they were soon to have their own family together, something he had been longing for for quite some time now.

"Come on, I want to show you something else." Luna smiled to him and rose to her paws, slinking off through the vines and clambered her way in an incline that lead to the crystal ledge, leaping off and taking into a glide towards the exit of the Hidden World.

Toothless followed closely after her, watching while she lead them up to the surface out of their home. Luna perched herself on one of the rocks when she flew up to the ocean, staring out then turned to face her mate when he clambered his way to her side.

"Look out there." She purred, gesturing to an island ahead of her that was illuminated against the pale blue sky. "We should go there one day with them and explore it. I've never been over there before."

"That sounds nice." Toothless cooed back to her with a little smile, sitting at her side with his tail curled. "I'm sure they would love it, and you of course." He scrunched his nose at a cold wind that hit him in the face, glancing around the ocean and watching a few fish flop up to the surface and back down again.

"I'm glad you're happy.." Luna murmured to him quietly and dropped her head on his shoulder, shutting her eyes. "I just hope that everything will go smoothly and you'll have enough time for them, for us."

"Of course I will. I wouldn't miss anything for the world." Toothless chuckled and nuzzled her nose then stalked forward to swipe up a fish from the water, trotting back and giving it to Luna who purred gratefully and took the fish from him.

"I might go back to the den and sleep for an hour or two, I'm exhausted." Luna murmured after finishing with a lick of her lips then stood up with a stretch.

"Perfectly fine, sleep for as long as you need, I'll be wandering around for a few to check on everyone then come back." Toothless cooed, turning back into the hole and escorted his mate back to their den. Luna wandered inside and immediately laid down, curling herself up and purring to him.

"Sleep well." Toothless murmured and gave her ear a gentle lick, watching over her until she fell into slumber then turned back to the entrance of his den.

It was still a bizarre feeling to him. He was soon to be a father, something he never thought would happen. Ever since moving to the Hidden World he had connected more to his wilder instincts, as much as he missed Hiccup, he knew this was where he belonged.
