Mavy was new in the town, she came with her father from the city. They moved to the country side for they want to take care of her grandmother since it was her mother's last wish.
"Father.. is there a near university near our area?" She asked him as soon as they were unpacking their things from the car
"Why would you ask that?? You're still in your senior highschool year" her father smiled at her while he patted her shoulder "you still have a long way to go"
As they were done, Mavy started to put all their things inside her grandmother's house. "Grandmother~ We are here" she announced as she joined her
"My precious little angel why did you come here" she was about to cry while she hold on to Mavy tightly "this place is dangerous.. get out now" her grandmother shouted
"Miss Choi.. it's time for you to take bath" a helper got her off from her as she slowly drag her to the bathroom. That made her feel creepy about it but she just continued fixing all her stuff.
She guided herself to anywhere her feet leads the house. She went into a room as per her father's instructions. It was wide, everything was a little antique but she loved the new house
"Are you okay?" His father asked because he felt her presence was a bit sad after a month of her mother's passing. As they look at each other, his daughter just nod at him
Later on the helper came in and apologize for her grandmother's words, she said "I'm sorry about how Miss Choi acted... she is quite old and have signs of late alzheimer's syndrome" and left us all alone
She understand her because it was normal that people in their old age is prone to this kind of stuff
"Father.. when will I start going to school?" She asked him and his father's response was in 3 days because she must be familiar with the place first so that she wouldn't experience a culture shock later on.
She was stubborn and her father let her wander around the new town
As she step a foot out of the house, she felt something weird and scary about this new town. She strolled round and the streets were empty not a living soul can anywhere to be found.
Cats were weird and just stare at her. Their was a forest, large one right there. She suddenly felt that someone was watching her. She keeps on checking around her and saw nothing but a flying crow
She walk down the place and finally saw people walking around "excuse me.. uhmm.. where can I find a bookstore near here?" She asked the first person she saw
"Just go straight down and turn to the right and when you see an ally with a saying "Eastworth" just enter that and you can find what you are looking for" he said. She was about to go but the mister hold her hand "why did you come out early.. it's dangerous going out at 6 and going home late at night. Please take care of yourself"
It was giving her chills but still took his advice. She followed the old man's direction but a rude punk bumped into her and her most precious keep safe jewelry from her mother rolled down the hill
She doesn't want to make an argument today for she just came in to this weird town. She chased the ring down the hill, she stumbled over and over but can't loose the last thing her mother gave her when she was dying infront of her eyes.
Luckily a man stepped on it and picked it.
"Ohh.. I love your jewelry" he said as he was picking it up "how much is it? I'll buy it" he said grinning at me
"I am sorry but this ring is not for sale" she replied boldly and reached for it but she was late the man put it in his pinky finger "please give it back.. it has a great meaning and impact to me" she begged
"I haven't seen your face around the town.. are you new here then? " he again asked. He has a beautiful face but a nasty personality
"Yes" she replied
"Then finders keepers" he laughed and left her all alone the alley
This is bad... Eomma I'll make sure to get it back
She said in her mind
"Why am I so unlucky!!" She shouted as she kicked the rock which hit a crow and fell "ohh~ I'm so sorry for hitting you" she hold on to the crow as she checked whether it injured its arm but luckily, it's not.. its eyes were hit by a rock though
It bit her and flew away "we are even now" she waved her hands as she watched the crow fly away.
The crow flew to a shelter which is located deep in the woods. It can't easily be found by humans because there are predators waiting to snap their legs out of it. The crow landed safely and slowly change its form into a human being.
"Sunghoon! Where did you go early in the morning!" His friend welcomed him but soon after he saw a circular black around his eyes he laughed hardly "what happened to you??" He laughed
Later on, the pack is getting bigger. "Everyone~ I think I am lucky today" an arrogant man sat on the chair in just a blink of an eye
"Is that blood I see? In your mouth?" Jay walks closer to him and wipe of the blood beside his lips. He licked it and was about to go crazy
"You're right... this person has an aroma better than those people in this town. She's not just an ordinary person" Sunghoon grinned
"I think I know who that person is" the arrogant man, Heeseung, raised a ring and was imagining the person he teased this morning "Her scent was the most fragrant one out of thousands of people I killed in the past 10000 years"
"But don't touch her" Sunghoon said "she possessed something familiar.. I will let you know if we will have a stakeout in the woods.. don't be greedy" Sunghoon said as he look at himself in the mirror)(but he can't see his reflection) and just let Sunoo watch the black patch to disappear
