Why me {Draco x reader}

We return to hogwarts tomorrow, I'm really excited to leave since I live in a toxic household since my mother abuses me.

"Y/n get down here and clean the kitchen!" Her mom yelled and hit the broom on the ceiling

She jumped at the sudden banging under her "Coming mother"

Y/n started scrubbing, dusting and sweeping everything and then she was done and went back upstairs to her room.

After a minute her mom went upstairs to y/n's room and slammed the door open

"You didn't clean well enough."

"Mother please no" she begged

Her mom grabbed took her belt off and started swinging it around hitting y/n until she fell on the floor and when she hit the ground her mom kicked her in the ribs

"Maybe next time you'll clean harder"

Her mom walked out annoyingly laughing

Y/n laid there for awhile and finally got up and started packing while she cried silently

The next day

Y/n rushed downstairs limping and she went out of the door and started on her way to 9¾

Whenever she got there somebody hugged her from behind she tried to push him/her off but she was still weak until she saw the hair out of the corner of her eye

"Malfoy, get the fuck off me."

He did as she said

Y/n started limping as she walked until draco noticed

"I know you don't like me, but why are you hurt who did it?" He said trying to get her to stop walking away

She knew he wouldn't give up so she stopped walking and looked at him "if you must know my mother abuses me." She said with her voice cracking slightly

"Darling, I'm so sorry atleast let me help you"

"Help? Me? no. And stop calling me darling"

"Never."

Draco left suddenly and got on the train y/n went a moment after he did

She looked around for a empty seat but most except one of them were full and she didn't wanna sit with who's in the only open one.

So She asked everyone if she could sit with them but they all said no that they have no room.

She gave up and went into the empty one with who else than Draco Malfoy

"Get out I don't want anyone here." Draco said

"Sucks to be you then because I'm staying so shut your goddamn mouth"

Draco looked at her shocked but then went back to looking out the window

Y/n extended Her legs and laid down and closed her eyes since she didn't get much sleep the night before

Draco looked over at her and how peaceful she is. He wanted her to be his badly but he knew she doesn't like him as a friend or anything more.

When they get to hogwarts

Draco didn't wanna wake her so he thought of an idea, Draco picked her up bridal style and started walking off the train with both their trunks

"D-Draco"she said starting to wake up

"Yes darling?"

"Holy-" she stopped herself from cussing "put me down"  she started kicking her legs

"No. So just calm yourself because I'm not putting you down."

She did as he said because she didn't have the strength to fight like she normally would

When they got to the slytherin common room he sat her down on the couch

"That wasn't so bad was it?"

"I guess.." she faked a smile

"Darling, I invented the fake smile you cant trick me." He smirked

She rolled her eyes "Why are you still talking to me? We're here so now go away."

"I'll go when I want to."

"Okay then I'm leaving right now." After she said that she started to walk to the stairs and to her room

Draco stopped her by grabbing her arm  "I need to ask you one question"

She yanked her arm away from him "What is it malfoy."

He smirked at how feisty she is sometimes "Would you be friends with me?"

"Me friends with you? You haven't earned that yet."

"Yet, darling."

She rolled her eyes and walked away into her room
