Tim's Greatest Adventure

Chapter One - The Idea/Plan

            Night time had come upon the house; Gru was planning out a sinister plot to steal the Empire State Building. He hoped that if he could accomplish this that his mom would finally be proud of him. Gru’s mother never seemed to think of what he did as good enough for an evil villain like himself. Gru always had his trusty minion next to him, Tim. Tim was tall and had a couple of long hairs coming up from the top of his yellow head. Tim knew that his master would need help but Tim had other thoughts in his head. Tim had always dreamt about going out of the Gru laboratory, he had never left before. As Gru yawned and said goodnight to all of his minions, he took his canon elevator up to the main level of his dark and villain like home. He walked through the halls, looking at all his big medieval weapons. Gru reached his room and fell asleep; back down in the lab minion Tim was alone in his quarters only for a few minutes before his roomate Dave would join him, he started to think of a plan to get out and finally leave the Gru Lab.  Tim wasn’t sure where he wanted to go, but he knew he wanted to have an adventure.

         Tim considered places like California and England. He thought about taking one of Gru’s epic machines, he didn’t have the money to get a car or get onto a plane so he needed to think of another plan of transportation. After staying up late, his eyelids got heavy he took off his work clothes and put on a plain shirt with just the “G” for Gru. Just before Tim fell into a deep sleep, he had a brilliant idea; Tim wrote it down and fell asleep. The note read:

                          “Build a boat using Gru’s tools in the Lab. Go to England. ”

        When Tim woke up the next morning, he stretched out his tiny yellow limbs and looked over at his late night note he left for himself. He sat up and pondered the day of work and planning he had ahead of himself. Dave walked by “Bello Tim!” he said walking to the door; he left after putting on his own work clothes. Gru walked into the main room of the laboratory and said “MINIONS!” All the minions rushed into the main room of the laboratory, cheering on their Master. He smiled; Gru looked at all of the little yellow bodies and continued on with talking about his plans to steal the empire state building. He told the minions that he needed a shrink ray to be able to steal it and be able to show his mother, to make her proud.  Tim was off in his own little world while Gru explained his sinister plans, thinking about his adventure, he started thinking if he should take Dave his friend with him. Gru had finished telling the minions about his sinister plot to steal the Empire State Building, Tim shook his and said “Whaaattt?” he looked at Dave with a face of confusion, trying to remember what Gru had said.  Tim walked back to his place in the lab; he was on the job of bringing metal and tools to the Creation room. The Creation room was where Gru and professional minions built evil weapons and vehicles. Tim was not one of those minions, he had basic jobs like making food, cleaning and working on the computers.

         His final plan came together; he was going to England and started collecting the items he needed. Every night Tim collected a couple of items, started to put them together to build his boat. He only needed it to be big enough for himself since he would be alone on this adventure. After he felt he had made some progress he would go to bed. He became more tired and aimless every day, he seemed to always fall asleep while working. This took a week of late nights, when he wasn't working on this he was helping his master steal the Empire State Building. The next step in Tim's plans was to tell his master Gru, but wasn't sure. One thing he knew was that Gru would be surely okay with it; at least that's what he had hoped for. When Tim had finally told his master and made the official plans to leave! He was going to start the greatest adventure of his Minion life.
