Hiding behind the big logs, Kaylee looked at the men chopping and constructing wooden polls into catapults and other structures. She was amazed at how many men were working on the path they needed to take and she was beginning to wonder how they were going to get to the Narnian's without being seen. Knowing she was the only one who could get trough to Peter, she turned towards him, her blonde ponytail hitting her in the face as she turned her head. ''Maybe this isn't the best way?''

She had to let herself slip as horses appeared next to them, hiding her face in Edmund's chest, who happened to be next to her as he too tried to hide himself. When she felt a tap on her shoulder, she looked up to Edmund, slowly getting up onto her knees as she looked at the men still working, turning to Peter with a pleading look to go back. And so they did.

They arrived back at the spot where Lucy said she'd seen Aslan, Kaylee was still skeptic but after seeing all those men, she didn't see another way to go.

''So where exactly did you think you saw Aslan?'' Kaylee cringed at the choice of words Peter had taken and so did Lucy as she turned around to face her brother with an angry look upon her face.

''I wish you'd all stop trying to sound like grown-ups.'' She turned back to the dwarf next to her before turning back. ''I don't think I saw him, I did see him.''

''I am a grown-up.'' Trumpkin answered back as Lucy wondered of to a spot.

''It was right over...'' Before she could finish her sentance, she yelled out, the ground beneath her had given out as she fell down, the other five quickly rushing to her.

''Lucy!''

'' ...here.'' She finished as she looked up to the others, giving a small smirk towards Peter.

They followed the path down as Kaylee held Peter's hand so she wouldn't slip, which had continued to happen anyway, but at least he was able to stop her from completely falling onto the ground and possibly hurting herself.

The night had fallen and Kaylee's head was resting on Peter's chest as she slept. She could hear Susan and Lucy speak in the distance but it didn't wake her up as she was a deep sleeper. The campfire had kept them warm during the night before it had gone out by morning. Kaylee lifted her head up from the ground before realizing she was on the ground and not on Peter's chest.

She frantically looked around before noticing Lucy was gone as well. She quickly woke the others before they all rushed towards the footprints that Peter had left in the mud. The four of them arrived just in time, seeing Peter in a fight with another boy, seemingly their age as Susan called out his name.

The boy stood confused as he looked at the blonde boy in front of him, noticing the lion on the handle of the sword he had taken away from the king. ''High king Peter.'' Kaylee looked around as she smiled at the Narnian's, after being away for so long she longed to see the creatures again.

''I believe you called.'' Peter spoke up, his eyes roaming over to his family and girlfriend, quickly checking if they were alright. Kaylee now realized that the boy was prince Caspian, the one who blew the horn.

''Well, yes, but...I thought you'd be older.'' He spoke as his eyes rested on the king, which Peter had noticed, sassily replying.

''If you like, we could come back in a few years...'' He took one step back as he held out his hand to Kaylee, who gratefully took it as Caspian was quick to speak up.

''No. No, that's all right. You're just... You're not exactly what I expected.'' His eyes rested on Susan, who seemed to blush under his gaze before Edmund broke the silence.

''Neither are you.'' Kaylee chuckled at his words, softly shaking her head at the younger boy

''A common enemy unites even the oldest of foes.'' A skunk-like creature spoke next to a dwarf. Kaylee turned to him as she smiled, she couldn't believe they had actually returned to Narnia.

''We have anxiously awaited your return, my liege.'' Her eyes drifted to the floor where a mouse was standing, a red feather on his head and a belt around his shoulder which held a sword small enough for the small creature. ''Our hearts and swords are at your service.'' Kaylee and Peter gave a grateful nod before Kaylee heard Lucy whisper to her sister.

''Oh, my gosh, he is so cute.''

''Who said that?'' Apparently not only Kaylee had heard her, but so had the mouse as he angrily held his sword up, going in circles to find the voice.

''Sorry.'' She spoke up as she gave a shy smile before he quickly put his sword away, bowing to the youngest Pevensie.

''Your Majesty, with the greatest respect, I do believe "courageous,""courteous," or "chivalrous" might more be fit a knight of Narnia.''

''Well, at least we know some of you can handle a blade.'' Kaylee did see the look of Caspian's face, he was disappointing in how their battle had ended.

''Yes, indeed. And I have recently put it to good use, securing weapons for your army, sire.''

''Good. Because we're going to need every sword we can get.'' Peter spoke as he turned back to Caspian, the boy pursing his lips together as he held out Peter's sword.

''Well, then, you will probably be wanting yours back.'' Peter took it at an instance, putting it into its holder before tugging on Kaylee's hand, indicating for her to follow him. She gave a small smile to Caspian before letting her feet walk in the same direction as Peter's.
