Chapter 3~ The Ball

Your POV:
          It's the day of the Yule ball, the girls are doing each other's hair and makeup, the guys are tying each other's ties. Almost everyone arrives to the ball and you see Harry waiting for me at the bottom of the staircase.

"Wow y/n you look.. brilliant"

You take his hand and head to the dancing area. You can't help but notice Draco sitting at a table alone, he looked sad. The two of you had the best night ever and after the dance when most people are gone Harry takes you to the quidditch field.

"Y/n.. would you want to be my girlfriend?"

"Yes! Yes! Of course Harry"

Before he can even say a word you lean over and kiss him. What you don't notice is that Draco was walking up to you with a bouquet of flowers, he sees you kissing Harry and walks away fighting tears.  You walk around looking for him, and head to the slytherin common room. Normally Draco would be sitting on one of the couches in the common room, or in his dorm but he was neither of those places. You decide it's time to stop looking for him and go to bed.

Draco's POV

        I saw her kiss Potter. I run to the potions class, I remember learning about amorita in class. I looked  through Snape's books and found it. I made the potion, put it in a small beaker with a lid and hid it in my pocket. I waited til around 1 am to go to my dorm to make sure everyone was asleep. The next morning I put on the potion as if it were cologne. Walking down the halls everyone was staring at me, the girls were all over me like I was some pet until finally I made it to y/n. I saw her at the lunch tables and gave her a hug from behind..

"Harry?"

"No it's Draco"

"Why do you smell like Harry?"  She asked.

Harry was sitting next to her so it was obviously awkward but I was trying to hide the pain in my eyes.  I ran to the bathroom and put water on my face, suddenly I was crying until Harry walked in.

"I know what you did, you're wearing amorita.
The love potion"

"What Potter, you happy she smells you or something?"

"It was a love potion Malfoy. She doesn't like me."

"You did that to her..."

"Yes. But I only gave it to her once, I gave it to her the day she said yes to the ball I never gave it to her again." 

     I run out of the bathroom, I make a truth potion, 'if I can convince her to drink this, we can see the truth'.  I run to her..

"Hey y/n slytherin party 8 pm don't be late"

"Alright sounds fun"
