Allegra Kemp's hogwarts adventure (book 1)

I woke up to the sound of the water outside of my window, which was coming from the lake located next to my house which you could also consider a cottage do to size and looks.

I got out of my soft king size bed which I owned even though there was no need for all that space while I was sleeping but it was comfy so I kept it. I slipped on some slippers that had once belonged to my mother before she had gotten new pairs.

I slipped out of my room which had limited space because of my bed, I tiptoed silently to the kitchen and opened the fridge grabbing the "jug" of milk which was almost empty, I went over to our cabinets made out of wood and grabbed a flower patterned glass and pored what was left of the milk into it just making it to the middle before running out.
I sat down at the circle shaped table when I heard a thud I twisted my head around quickly pulling the muscle in my neck. It was dark and hard to see but I could still make out my sister, her name was Helena, she was nine years old being two  years  younger than me and being five  years younger than my eldest sister Marie.

"What are you doing up?" I asked quietly not wanting to wake up the others, "I couldn't sleep" she said getting closer "Same", she looked back at me after getting seated on the chair with the wobbly leg, she didn't mind she always sat on that chair even though it was close to snapping .

"You shouldn't sit there it's not safe" I looked at her with concern I knew what her answer was gonna be though. "I'm fine" she said getting comfy by pulling her legs up to her chest.
We were silent you could only hear the clock on the wall ticking and me sipping my milk almost done with it, until my sister spoke "do you have to leave" I looked at her she looked upset and about to tear up.

I scooted closer to her and wrapped my arms around her she was talking about me leaving to Hogwarts a wizardry school I had gotten a letter to two days ago, We had been born into a wizard family with are mom being a witch and are dad... well we don't really know, me and my sisters had never met him and mom never talked about him.
"You'll be ok and I promise I will send letters every day" I said snapping back into reality. She smiled into my shoulder, "We should get back to bed I said letting go and putting away the glass that was once holding milk, I grabbed her hand and walked her to her room letting go when she got into bed "Goodnight" i said giving her a big hug. I made my way back to my room and climbed in my bed tomorrow we would be going to Diagon Ally. And with that I fell asleep
