The Rooftop (Past Will and Henry angst ;w;)

Dear Henry,

You've been an awesome companion. And by that, I mean fantastic. 

Before I go, I have something to say to you.

I love you. I love you more than a friend, and more than a companion. But it seems as if you don't return those feelings.

I hope you and Annalise get together. You two were always cute together.

Meet me at the rooftop at our school.

Henry's eyes widened. Then, he grabbed Annalise's hand and ran towards the rooftop of their school.

He saw his childhood friend standing near the edge, ready to jump off with tears streaming down his face.

Henry ran faster towards him.

But he was too slow, or perhaps he was too panicked.

He saw his friend walk off the edge.

He froze, and looked down the rooftop.

There he saw, his friend's body laying on the ground, bloody and broken. And perhaps, dead.

Henry stumbled, and Annalise caught him.

He had witnessed an event of a lifetime. Something he wouldn't forget.

His tears flowed out like a huge waterfall.

His friend had confessed their love, but committed suicide.

He wished he could turn back time.

He wished he could undo everything and bring his friend back to life.

But he couldn't.

It was done. And it couldn't be fixed.

So Henry fulfilled his friend's wishes.

And said one thing his best friend had wanted to hear when he was alive.

It was all he had to say.

As long as he said this, he knew his friend would be happy.

So he did.

And he clung to the verse, the rest of his life.

"I love you too.......... William....."
